Ouch - I shocks me that people on DW recommend using brushes on Alcantara. Can be fixed with a razor or shaver though.

Get a good wax Paul, if you over polish it it will be really rusty when you polish the paint off ;) Jokes aside SRP is that mild you could probably use it every week for the cars life time, but if you polish it then use a good sealant and or wax you should not have to polish more than a every...
