Picked up my Renault manifold to cat fitting kit earlier. Has anybody got any pics of where all the washers go and which way round bits go? There's 2 metal washers, and 2 plasticy cardboard sort. Which goes where? And does the nut go towards the cat end or manifold end?

Well that's the thing, I keep seeing threads pop up of people saying " help with my Clio sport, well not the proper sport Clio sport" sort of thing pop up. It turns out they are like 1.2's and 1.4's etc so i just wondered what gives them the idea it is a sport apart from the fact previous...

Did Renault make any cliios other than ones with an f4r with a sport badge on? Reason I ask is that I keep seeing them about and wernt sure if there was a sport level trim which had a sport badge on the boot.

172 cup blue is much nicer than arctic, look similar but different lol.

my 182 cup packed has got abs and i drive it pretty hard and have only ever felt the abs actually kick in when it was icy/snowy and tbh in these times i wish id have not got abs because even when rolling at about 15mph on snow the abs just goes mental and makes it quite difficult to stop.

my janspeed supersport sounds perfect aswel not too loud and has a nice grumble and rasp when you boot it. I decat it aswel for a few months and the sound is crazy but it was a tad loud for me

i never use the sills as there made of cheese and just bent in. theres 2 solid bars running down the center of the car, i use those for the front.

everything in my car vibrates, rattles, buzzes. anooys the hell out of me so i just turn the music up. main culprits i found are interior light housing, the clear plastic that covers the clocks, the tip computer reset button, and most of the trims in the car lol.

on a ph1 you may see a significant gain as the stock inlets arent brilliant.

knn cleaner kit cost me 17 quid from gsf for my pannel filter. no dont do that, cleaning requires 2 steps, soaking with the cleaner to break up all the crap, and then re oiling.

Can't see it being a problem if it's a track only car, itl still be reading the same reading reading, just a couple of cm later in the system. You would need to extend the cable though obviously so it can still reach your front lambda plug

if you press the trip computer reset button on the dash when its displaying oil ok then it gives you an indication of the oil level. its useless though, mine was displaying half the other day so i got out and let the car settle for 20 mins and checked the oil and it was bang on max.

yeh so annoying because you just have to click them and unclick them. only does it when the auto lights come on,, wierd

Never knew you could do that, guess I'll have a try after work. So turn them on and off twice will turn em back on?

Never knew there was a switch for the auto, they just used to come on in the dark and if wanted to override it to turn them on if it was quite bright then just twist the end of the stalk

As thread title, my auto lights were working fine last night , but this morning they decided not to come on at 6am. Where is the light sensor? Does it fail?
