Yeah a Valver is good fun, I can agree on that.
You have to rev it the correct way from my experiences.
If you feed the throttle correctly and get in a few good gear changes, you'll be doing 90Mph fairly sharpish.
Heh cheers.
Yeah not sure on clear side repeaters atm. They'd need to be a very good set for me to fit them, need to look like they were sold with them on :D
Sup.
Haven't posted any proper pics of my Valver yet, so here's six of them

Tbh, I don't think they're fast.
Don't get me wrong, they aren't slow, just not amazing quick off the mark. I suppose they do look lush though and are a little bit special (not as special as a Williams mind)
I'm pretty sure a 106 GTi is quicker to 60, but doesn't look as good :)
I got the 5000cs references running off an Alpine amp and Alpine HU.
Sound great. Shame they rattle my doors though and I cba to set them up super good :p
Easier to remove the battery but you can just use your hands mate.
Way I do it is to unclip all the little clip, then you have to loosen off the three screws on the side, next to the battery. Just turn them with you hand.
Et volia!
I reckon you're a tight basatrd :D
Get one and put it on, if it doesn't make a difference sell it.
I had one on my RT and I've got one on my 16v and they both made a noticeable improvement.
What have you got to lose?
What Daz said,
Although I had a bee sting on my RT and ended up putting a standard ariel on.
Much prefer the standard ariel. You recieve radio better and it suits the car.
Don't know if they're off here but a blue 182 Cup with the reg S1 CUP was going up Hamilyn way, was going to catch up but slow cars in the way and my engine was cold.
I was in a blue valver, probabyl a small spec in your rear view mirror :D
Some rate nice Clios on here.
Here's the Valver:
And the RT
Haven't got any good pictures of the Valver yet, sadly. Weather has been crap. It does actualy shine up really well :)
Was a big thread on RSC about this car. Owned by a lad called Jarvis. He was pretty pissed when he saw the thread on Barryboys.
I love it when a Valver turns up on Barryboys and they all mention the bonnet vent.
It's standard you w*****s :D
You can make most things fit. Weather it's easy or not I don't have a clue.
On the plus side I did see some pictures of a Mk1 16v with a 172 lump in, the pics were forgien though.
Gah, gaybar.
Ok so fit my de-cat and panel filter and woohoo, exhaust doesn't knock anymore and PAS seems strangely quiet, great. Perfection.
So I take the car for a blast up the dual carriageway, upto illegal speeds, so slowed down.
Going along at 80 in 5th, then car lurches and it...
I heard that the reason they got rid of the V6 Clio was partly because the new Clio will be sufficent enough to fill it's place.
Also it's 200Bhp+ and I can't see Renault making a dogs dinner tbh, I'm sure it will be great.
You need to fit an R5/RSi rear axle.
Dunno how hard it is, or how you connect the brakes up.
Guy on Rsc has done it on his moddified Clio 1.2/RSi. He's called Twistedstyling on the new forum.
