If all it needs is bumper, bonnet and wings I personally wouldn't have gone through the insurance and fixed it myself with 2nd hand parts. Beats loosing no claims etc.
I'd sell your 15's and 16's to raise the cash for either, 182's, 172's or Turini's, all in gunmetal colour and with some decent tyres, and then you can keep your 17's if you fancy the change.
If you decide to just stick with the 17's get some better tyres than the Falken ditch finders and pzero...

The washer jet pipe, just give it a good pull and the little rubber grommit will pop out and give you plenty of pipe to connect, then just cut the grommit off. As for the brake light connector, it should be different I think, I still haven't bothered...
I passed my MOT yesterday. I got an advisory though that I need a new front nearside shock as the pivot joint is worn. Pretty sure it's due to when the bottom strut bolts sheared off. He said all the other shocks are spot on.
I'm on -40mm Apex springs and standard shocks.
What's the best bet...
