20-30mins first time. Undertrays & Arch liners off. Side retaining bolt off each side under arch liners. Two retaining bolts in the middle under the bonnet off, job done. Not too sure on the middle bolts under the bonnet. On ph1 it's easiest to undo the grill so it can be bent out of the way...
Awesome mate, good stuff. So much for the derv runabout for a bit then!! Dissapointed you didn't go for monaco blue though! ;)
Wheels look ace, what size are they? Is that it's original plate as opposed to previous owners private plate?
Whats the details on it, mileage, price etc?
It's tramlining if it feels like the wheels are following the contours and bumps in the road easily. With wider wheels if you hit a pothole it will have more of an effect and a tendancy to pull the steering wheel in your hands.
I noticed it a bit at first but after I'd drove it for a week or two...
Whats Dent Man St. Helens like with paintwork Sokett? Obviously you're happy with his dent removal just wondered what he's like with paint chips, key scratches etc.
Yep 21mm swan neck or if you get a 21mm socket, put the alan key down the middle to hold the piston and then either use mole grips on the socket or an adjustable spanner if possible.
You just keep your airbag and horn wiring. The airbag comes off first via the two torx screws on the back of the steering wheel. pull airbag out, disconnect the orange clip on the back, undo the retaining torx for the wheel and wiggle it off. Fitting is a reversal.
That's not a leather...
Yeah, you want to negotiate that into the price if it hasn't been done. If you can get £500 off it will more than cover it along with the pulleys, tensioners, water pump etc.
