Nah, keep the rears at 30, prob best running 32front 30rear. Though I doub't you'd notice any difference changing the tyre presure that little. If your laft calliper is working more than your right then that would explaing your uneven brake dust/pad wear and also the feeling/tendancy for it to...
What the fluck! lol.
As said best just going to Renault for a filter and washer, just give them your reg and they'll sort you out, about 6 quid as mentioned.
If you don't change the 10p washer it'll leak.
The whole door card can be taken out and replaced with any other Mk2 Ph1 door card. The fabric bit on the front door cards is plastic spot welded on so isn't the easiest to remove. The fabric on the rears just unclips. The best thing to do is replace the whole interior with a Mk2 Ph1 172 interior.
£80 is all it costs to lower 40mm on good springs. Geometry will be fine. You should get it tracked after lowering it but I put my 40mm springs on about 3 months ago now and have still not had it tracked! :quiet:
It's fine though, tracking seems fine and it handles great so I'm in no rush. IMO...
<Thats not it on my avatar, that pic is very old! lol. I'll hopefully be washing it tomorrow so I'll try and get some pics for you. I've just put my 3/4 plate on from fancyplates, previously I had a DIY cut down. Try to get pics of both up for you tomorrow.
^Bit harsh mate lol. hkka isn't english so he's doing well for us to understand him, I'm sure we wouldn't be able to make a word of sense in his language!
I was under the impression they were more expensive than £15? I think the ph1 172 ones are about £70 for the pair?
Saw a Silver Ph2 172 in Frodsham this evening turning into fluin lane. Was around 8.15pm. Gave you a wave as I passed.
Also saw a Williams this morning/afternoon around 12ish, willy 2 I think but didn't get that good of a look. It was on High St heading out of Frodsham.
Last weekend saw a ph1...
Me personally? For mine it'd be £30 spot fine.
Hacksaw is fine, I did my first plate this way and then filed it for smoothness and to round the edges. You would get away with it as long as you have 11mm all round, don't need to worry about the postcode and BSU mark IMO. Depends how arsey and...
Yep all have them, one of the first things I checked out when I was looking to buy as I saw the join/seam, and thought, 'aye aye, hope that's not cut and shut!'
lol at this thread, I was confused as hell to begin with.
Is it unusual that my 1.4 sport has the 'twisted' type dogbone mount as standard? As I heard a while back that it's only the RS's that have it?
If you just want a cut down plate with the full size lettering just get a hack saw and file out. I did. Does a fine job.
Cat171, if you do it this way you can keep it legal, leave an 11mm gap all round and you'll be fine.
I now have the real deal 3/4 sized plate from fancyplates though. Looks...
M22TTA out of those IMO.
Try ebay aswel, some bargains on there sometimes but can take a while for transfer etc.
As said you can cut down a full size plate, fully legal font and spacings etc, but it has to have an 11mm border all round (from edge of letter to top of plate) and it must also...
lol, was gonna say your tyres are on the wrong way. That needs lowering very quickly! I don't think I've ever seen a clio look that high on 15's, looks like it's still jacked up!!
The valver springs wont work...for a start there will only be 2 springs and you need 4. Best bet is Apex -60mm...
Mate, the D reg plates were released not long ago for private sales, I had just bought my private plate and about 2 days later got an e-mail from newreg offering me the perfect plate IMO. My name is Dan, initials are DWC. They offered me D4N WC (D4 NWC) for about £500 all in (transfer etc) I'd...
lol, my wheel arch was leaking the other week. It was just water from when I had washed it slowly dripping out from behind the arch liner. Was still leaking out a good day or two after.
