Seen some new for about £400 - can you put sat nav software onto any head unit with a screen? I don't mind if you have to put a sat nav dvd in and get a gps reciever etc? Looked at that pioneer one, looks sweet!

I think you can yeah but need door cards and plastic trim from A pilars etc. A lot of work.

Is it possible for me to fit Mk2 Ph1 172 interior into my Mk2 Ph1, using the existing subframes and seatbelt pretensioners? Also, anyone any ideas how much I'd be looking to have 2 front seats, rear bench and all door cards sent by courier?

@R20 GRC. ^ How much mate? If you don't want to say on here would you mind PM'ing me? One more question, can you have a CD on at the same time as the sat nav and the sat nav voice still on or cut the CD off while it speaks? Basically, can you listen to music at the same time as using the sat nav!?

I'm not Giles. Any easy instructions? It slides all the way forward and will then slide back but only about 1/4 of the way at most and just gets stuck in the same position every time. It used to be fine and then one day it just stopped going back! 172 interior would be the best fix!

I had very same problem. The collar fell off mine! That actually made it hard as the wheel brace then wobbled about when trying to loosen the bolts. I took it down to Budget (tyre place) and they got it off, they also took all 4 of the other locking bolts out just incase I had problems with them...

Yeah!! My front passenger seat is stuck almost all the way forward. I keep meaning to do something about it but never do as it doesn't bother me too much as I'm never in the passenger seat. It is a bit annoying though knowing there is something not quite right with it. If you get it sorted let...

^ V. expensive. Think they were about a £900 option, may have been £500 but £900 seems to ring more of a bell. You can't buy new 182's anymore so you would have to find one with them on, you couldn't go into a dealer and specify. The newest you will find now is pre-reg or delivery miles at best...

Yeah, really isn't easy. Even just from spraying small parts, handles, side strips etc, it's clear to see how hard it is. I found the handles fairly easy but even just the side strips are a big step up from that! The key is in the preperation and thin, even layers of paint, and a lot of patience!
