I didn't no because the radio doesn't have a patch harness. Seemed to work fine in the kangoo when we had it which is strange.
It was a freebie I've had laying around for ages luckily! I might try that as I'm looking for a way to solve the wired aux issue without getting a big ugly parrot display.
It hasn't. We changed the radio for a Bluetooth one on Wednesday which has clearly drained the battery! In the bin that one goes! I do have that problem on my track car though so will give the battery a swap. Thanks for the tip :)
Is anyone driving through Greenwich this morning that can help jump start my 182. The radio has drained the battery and I desperately need it this morning. I live on the corner of Trafalgar road and Maze Hill...
Car looks great Chris. Had perfect weather by the looks of it. I'll be up for some days in the summer in my cup so would be good to see you up there.
I had tuition there too with an older guy, was a great great help, really wanted me to push the car and it definitely improved my laptimes.
@SharkyUK Thanks Andy. I ran through your thread quickly earlier and saw yours was from TTV so assume you've spoken to them. Great explaination of the different factors which input the decision on weight.
When n/a it was a no brainer but with boost it's of course a different kettle of fish. I'm...
I'm wondering is why this appears to be the rule of thumb as there must be science behind it. Of course the turbo works off energy in the exhaust and that by having a car which revs quicker helps that. Of course gear changes the engine drops rpm quicker, reducing exhaust flow, but then picks it...
This is a topic which could probably have people arguing for days. Google doesn't really help and all of the gtr, evo and mx5 forums have never really come to a definitive answer. I enjoyed my lightened flywheel on my old n/a 182 and how responsive the engine was but with boost on the horizon...
To me that sounds like there are some broken wires in various places. Check for voltage drop and continuity in the wires which are in each of the circuits for those items. Circuit actuator relay doesn't really mean anything other than perhaps there is an issue with one of the many relays.
I had non genuine discs from euros for £10 a side with non genuine bearings in (£7 a side) and J&R abs rings. Lasted for absolutely yonks with no problems at all. The rear brakes are used so little you really needn't have anything special. Defo do need to have that 175nm torque setting though...
I bought these because I have a white and red LED dash conversion. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391318254387 They do other colours though :)
It would still light up just not display the radio details. The bulbs are a terrible design by renault and were updated to PLCC-4 LEDs in later cars with an...
bulbs will have gone in the back they're 509t fitment. I'm just about to replace mine with some LED ones to avoid it happening in the future. I would personally try and get dome topped LED to allow for better light dispersion across the displays.
Sorry! Me neither!
I have a cut off switch just to disconnect the battery when the car is unused for a while. I am going to be sorting FIA cut offs though. You have the powercable and the ignition through the cut off to with a resisted earth. This is the diagram I found on the net to help with...
Will do although they were all brand new when fitted. Put the wheels with the biggest weights on the back :)
They are you're right. I had rainsport 2's before and 16s and still had the same problem annoyingly. This isn't happening when giving it some though, it happens when I'm on the motorway...
Only feels a bit light in the middle. Like in an old car. Yeah was like this before changing the wishbones too. As Renault only supply the additional caster wishbones now I've got those.
Uni royal rain sport 3 all round 195/50/15
Recently I've done a huge amount of work to my 182 as the steering felt really twitchy and had the tendency to snap to one side of the other quite easily. After changing the parts it is better but by no means does the car feel tight. I can only describe it as it feels like there is a strong wind...
I know someone had a golf which the boot flexi with wires in had chafed, the wires had broken and were earthing on the boot lid blowing the central body module fuse.
shouldn't need to no. This is a bit from a french forum on how to correctly configure clocks.
To perform a configuration dashboard, follow the essential steps below:
1 - Make a multiplex network test and ensure compliance. If the multiplex network is not
compliant (see MR multiplexing). 2 -...
I just use non-adhesive loom tape and then the standard conduit. Obviously that's my interior loom. The exterior loom uses a lot more conduit. Think @NorthloopCup used heatshrink.
Always difficult to diagnose over the net but! I assume you've checked the wires to the ECU whilst the ignition is on incase you're getting voltage drop. I would go through the whole circuit and checking for continuity and also check for the place where the voltage drops.
Did you hard wire the...
Oh lordy lord. I have to resist reading the previous pages because a mod list would be made before even getting one. Stunning car though!
Much want for imola red M3, wish they'd put of selling until August.
