I remember this guy who could bend metal pretty well. He looked a bit odd though. He tarveled around on a space ship with some guy called Fry and a mutant called Leila. I think he may have been called Bender, but I wasn't sure. I got the hell out of there cos he kept hassling me for alcohol.
:p
Firstly, my mate and I did back to back runs down the straight stretch of road in each other's cars. He has a new fabia vrs with remap. I'd say his car seemed to have exactly the same straight line speed as my 172, so I very much doubt he'd leave a v6 in his wake.
I would love to own a V6...
Not true. Some brand's full-fat is slightly creamier than other brands. Due to storage and transportation (or even something else) Spar milk will ALWAYS go off before ASDA milk.
What a manufacturer claims there oil is, is possibly less accurately described or has a larger tolerance than more...
I wouldn't keep hold of it for a bit. I'd either keep hold of it for a long time or get rid now. You either admit to yourself you're gonna lose some money on it now but have a scooby which you've always wanted at a decent price. Or you wait a while, you'll lose a whole lot more on your clio...
My girlfriend has a "55" Extreme 4 which is basically the same car. Her's has got the 1.2 16v engine. If it's your first car then you're very lucky. It's very easy to drive, very quiet, pretty decent ride and handling for such a cheap car. Even the cd player is ok. At first glance it looks...
Do you know who makes Halford's oil?
What is "sythesising"? Is it like when you join the dark side?
What are "synthetic chemists"? Are they copies of real ones?
What's your job, not in charge of anything important I hope. :rasp:
I'm only coming at you with this because of the negative...
I've had my own insurance for about the last 5/6 years and I've never been issued a policy which has covered me to any degree other than on my own named car.
Har har har Fred! I'm prolly gonna get new wheels or a refurb when I get new tryes. Do you ever do refurbs for under £200 Fred? I know you said phone for a quote but I just want an idea.
Cheers.
I've currently got Pirelli P-Zero tyres on my car. I've been very happy with them, bit noisy but apart from that. The only thing is that they offer no over-hang type protection for my alloys against the ugly kerb. They seem to curve away from the centre to the tread a lot more than the...
Anyone used BF Goodrich G-Profiler? Was comparing the review scores on mytyres.co.uk and they completely wiped the floor with all the rivals. Plus they are also cheaper. I know a lot of the winning rally cars have been on BF Goodrich this season, that's got to be a start.
Well I've got my updated disc. It works fine and the TMC is now enabled also. If you zoom out it shows you all the traffic incidents on the map and there's a function that also lists them.
The new map has the M6 toll road... which is nice.
I had 2 12" in my megane. I have standard set-up now, which makes me sad. :(
Mos Def & Massive Attack - I Against I
Now that sounded goooooooooooooooooooooood on my old stereo. I doubt the standard set-up would even reproduce the bass :(
Yeah, first time I was looking for quotes for a full year after getting my 172. Tried direct line 1st and almost jumped off my seat when it came up with £400-£500. Exitement soon disappeared when I realised it had my car down as a 1.2, pff.
Any modifications affecting the performance or appearance of your car must be declared on your policy otherwise the insurer will be within their rights to refuse a pay-out in the event of a claim being made.
We could have that stickied.
Found the clean-image website and was quite impressed. Did a search and found this thread.
Deb182, how was your car? What did you have done and were you happy with it?
Same to you, Brazo, what did you have done?
