Was that inferno? No way! It looks bloody ace in that photo. So much brighter and vibrant than other pics I've seen. Previous pics of inferno have looked like a dull dirty orange, not like in that pic it's almost like that crazy lambo orange.
A) No-one will buy a 172 for £8k.
B)If you hardly do any miles, then you're hardly going to save any money with a more economical car.
C)If your insurance is down to £500 then you're gonna save a max of £250 on that.
Result It's not worth selling your car to save money. You won't get what...
the % difference of the 205/40 profile is even greater than the 205/45 profile when compared to the 195/45. Your speedo will read way over instead of a bit under.
Anyone know if the 182 speedos are calibrated differently to account for the tyres? or do they just keep it the same if it's still...
You're stepping into a grey area there I think. When it comes to car insurance you don't want to be in any kind of grey cos when the s**t hits the fan, you know which way the insurance company is going to go.
He doesn't need to apologise cos it's his car and he can have it how he likes, however those grills aren't very classy IMO.
BBPT shouldn't be saying anything to you about K-Tec stickers in your car unless you got some sort of BBPT advertising discount. You paid them for the turbo didn't you...
As far as I know, my car is still on it's 1st exhaust. 3 years old, 43k miles. Nothing mentioned at service at MoT last month so I guess it's still in decent nick. It sounds ok.
IMO the rattles simply come from trim becoming unsecure with all the shaking about you get from the firm suspension. Not too much to do with how you drive it.
Myself and one previous owner, but I've had the car almost twice as long as they had it now, so it feels more like "my" car. I'm sure that will make some sense to some people.
That's nice, I wish they hadn't stuck SoaD over the top (or whoever it is) cos I can't hear the fecking clio!
I just noticed he's almost ruin out of petrol and his dashboard "STOP" light is illuminated.
My rear ones were replaced on mine during 3rd year. Car is unmodified but they said it wasn't covered by warranty. They did say they'd contribute 75% costs though.
Will do. Hopefully I'll stop disappearing off the map when driving down newly re-routed roads and having to spend 10 mins listening to "please proceed to the planned route". I'll be interested to see what this TMC is like, if it's half efficient it should be pretty handy. It'll be nice to...
I've found the past two renewals I've had from elephant have been cheaper than if I go on there website and get a quote straight off there. Must be some sort of extra loyalty discount.
I've paid a guy off the forum for a new disc, I should be getting the updated disc by the weekend hopefully. My current disc hasn't got the TMC on so I haven't used it, although I do have a manual which has the TMC "instructions".
Yes Maz, I'm talking to you! I've been thinking of getting mine done. Thing is that I'm getting the impression that refurbing a set of 4 costs ~£200. But I could sell my alloys, I'd prolly get £200-250 for them and then it'd cost me £250 towards the £250 for a brand new set of four.
That way...
