Yeah, I thought engines start to get slower as the miles increase as they end up losing compression from the pistons wearing. Is this not the case? I thought the extra speed created by running in peaks once the sides of the pistons and cylinders are only slightly worn enough to make them...
There is a push-button type microswitch next to the catch on the underside of the front top edge. Closing the glove box door closes the switch.
If your car wasn't supposed to have a glovebox light, I would have thought they'd have put a blanking panel/plate in where the big gap is. If no-one...
Don't use a metal hammer straight onto your car. Use a hide/nylon faced hammer or at the very least cover the area in thich fabric.
Dolly might not be neccessary. Primary use of a dolly is for riveting.
I downloaded what I thought was the latest "VDO Dayton" disc from a BMW via eMule which should work in the renault colour sat nav, but it didn't. The files had completely different names. Another wasted blank disc to use as a coaster.
Anyone not got ANY help on this subject?
Mike, what...
They would only want to inspect it if a)you wanted them to repair it or b)you were disputing liability so they wanted to view it to try and help with the accident investigation. My understanding is that you've admitted fault and you just want to scrap your car. If this is the case then I'd...
If it makes it an easier decision for you I'll tell you this. The dealer WON'T sort out the problems on your car. They will fix anything glaringly obvious to the average buyer and that's it. If there's something nasty waiting to go wrong, then someone will buy it from the dealer and it will...
Long story short, I've been supplied with out of date *copies* for my expensive sat nav system by Renault Manchester. Is anyone able to get me an up-to-date version?
I've had the car 20 months and only just realised so neither renault manchester or renault UK care.
I'm pretty pissed off, ok...
When I was planning on getting a 172 I thought "great, Xenons, they look the dogs" But they are actually a lot better than normal headllamps and I think I'd probably pay the extra for the option if they didn't come as standard on a new car. I swear they were about £700 option back around 2002...
Rich, I'm strongly considering paying you a visit (and £50 ;) ) Do you have somewehere indoors in case I arrange to visit and it's crappy weather? Is there any kind of preparation you'd like me to do to it first if I brought it to you? like don't wax for a while, or wash it and make sure there...
That liquid gold or yellow one is absolutely AWSOME. I went to the renault test driving day last summer and they had a V6 in that yellow colour and it was jaw-dropping. Such a nice colour.
Hmm, £50 to effectively renew my paint. This is getting very tempting. I live in Manchester and work SW of Swindon so Gloucester is right on my way... I hate my swirls! I doubt anyone else sees them, but I know there there! I hate them, I can't sleep!
How long do you reckon it'd take you...
