    Its the way the systems are. Its not a huge % error though. The milage and trip computers all differ.

    Yep the engine not easy to get hold of you cna get the laguina version (none VVT) though if need be and por the head etc and cam it just as good then.

    Forget the Renault engine then get the VAG 1.8 T fitted instead much stronger engine and box plus the bits exist off the shelf for serious HP (750hp in the US) a forum member on here had his to 425hp easy enough. Just have a look at AMD etc turbos are all out there its all proven etc. Limit...

    Bit over £5k I'd guess fitted you need to find a place (probably a renault tunner) who would like a project car as such. As you said the F4RT is a better tunning base for turboing.

    In essence yes. Its a bit like Focus rally car and a focus road care are the same they are but the amount of different bits is huge the under floor subframe the biggest thing mechanicaly.

    You'd need to sort the gearing out and the gearbox out or go automatic on both. Its doable by why use 2 172 engine or 2 v6.

    Value for money wise the R26 is great has a LSD and a little rear spolier etc and cheaper to buy with more HP out the box so its undersandable. Each to there own diesel vs petrol threads though.

    It is 4x4 its just the wheels are seperatr one engine for the front one for the rear. Its a good idea works fine.

    A decat is just removing the catalitic converter form the exhaust stem helps remove restriction so hence increase power a bit. No real great alue fo money mod though decat a panel filter are about it.

    For the 10hp you also need the remap the sports cat and full exhaust stsrtem from a 182 the 182 extra 10hp ins't just the manifold. So they werne't a race team so how do you know how they were rely driving. change up along would see them a good way ahead. Errr let me get this strtaight they...
