My valver wont start now for some reason, i was driving along but when idling the revs would drop to around 400 then shoot up to 1500 but then die again slowly. I checked all the HT leads and noticed a small amount of oil in the plug chambers, this was after it just died. I checked all...
Ok im swapping my williams head for a megane head. i hear it needs machining for the dizzy to fit. anything else needed for it to fit on?
Ill be sending it off to have headwork done before fitting it to my car tho.

ive managed to come across a rack and column so i just need that kit i believe.... winston did his with the engine out :S lol.

Which is upto 2.5bar, will the plug from the clio 16v fit on that map...
id say 135-138 an exhaust wont give all that much and an open air filter will make things alot worse off! The filter will draw in alot of warm air from the engine and use that instead of cold air and will seriously reduce engine performance!
who can fit it for me then lol. well if i get second hand i want something in good condition not something thats been smashed up or anything.

lol well was jus a crazy thought lol. Ive heard using Co2 instead of nitrous is just as effective?
As for cooling the water in the "cooling system" you could use a radiator/intercooler and have a small fire extinguisher or something similar keeping it cool, or u could have something spraying...
in theory i guess it wrks but 10bhp i doubt maybe 2?
As for getting better induction you could:
Use exhaust wrap and wrap it round the manifold and downpipe which will keep engine bay temps down a bit.
relocate the battery into the boot
Relocate the airbox to where the battery used to be...
but i want an uprated clutch, i wont be using standard power......big ass power so standard clutch needs to go in the bin! even though its a new valver one ive got on
well im filling myself with confidence about it being a williams engine now. i raced my mate in his megane 225 hes had it chipped and he claims a massive 270bhp lol. i was on his arse upto 4th then he started to pull away slowly! i also raced my mate again n he was quite far behind in his white...
Im after a williams gearbox, either brand new or refurbished and not since used.
I know renault ones use the old shell but new gearbox internals!

The gearbox is knackered it doesnt stay in 2nd and crunches in some gears. im going to get a williams box from renault i think, have some trouble free milage!

oh it used to belong to glennclio 16v on the old forum, aparently conversion was done at torsion tuning. does anyone know this?

well i had another go with him tonight, i had passenger in he didnt and we sat on the motorway at 60 and floored it in 5th side by side, when i reached 80 i was off like a rocket he was no where. thats certainly not a gain from a manifold.
I also put my passenger in his car and did it up a hill...
wot by wiping me clean lol, yours will just fly past me anyway winston, ill have a look at the code when i go out tonight, if its a 1.8 can i goto trading standards as it was declared as 2litre when glenn sold it me.
it was up hill, he was infront though but i didnt get to his side until half way, did have to slow for traffic tho then accelerate again. coming down though there was a pretty big gap, still not convinced til i see proof lol
