    Minimum ET with 15" wheels

It's only on sportline springs with cup dampers at the minute, But once any of that needs replacing i'll probably end up getting BC coilovers from Diamond Motors fitted. I wouldn't want to limit options in the future to be honest. I know ET35 will fit on the rear as i had 16inch 1.2's on my last...

My Skoda. Probably my favourite car for a long time!

I know, i know.... but i'm still being drawn. I'd hopefully be keeping the clio too, but the Audi would be for business use mainly. So more comfortable and professional looking, and i've got a suitable family car already, so it would just be me 99% of the time. Yep, quattro as standard in...

    Minimum ET with 15" wheels

I'm sure this has been answered before, but my searching skills seem poor today. Currently running the standards 16" wheels on my 182, and as i want to replace the crappy tyres that are on it, i'm thinking about switching to some 15" wheels at the same time. Cheaper tyres making up some of the...

My Skoda. Probably my favourite car for a long time!

A propper remap is always better than a tuning box. Also take it to a remapper with a good rep with these cars, as a lot just map them to throw more fuel in and it results in lots of black smoke on acceleration.

My Skoda. Probably my favourite car for a long time!

Don't some places remap these to around 190bhp? I've thought about getting one of these a few times. I've been wondering if selling my Jetta is a good idea having had the 182 for a couple of weeks now. It's so easy to drive and much more comfortable. With the Hybrid turbo, it's also a fair bit...

    ***Tyre Poll***

Are the V12 evo 2 a farily new tyre? seems there is a lot of comparison to Pilot Super Sports on various forums. Obviously the concensus is that the PSS are the better tyre, but the V12's are a good option. I'm leaning towards the V12's now to be honest, the Goodyear F1's are the older version 2...

    Best fast Road Brake setup

Full set of front pads, so 4 pads.

    ***Tyre Poll***

Are V12's a good all round then? I'd considered them before buying RS2 on my last 182, not sure why i went for the RS2 over the V12's in the end.

    ***Tyre Poll***

Whats the go to tyre these days for a 182 on 16" wheels? The 182 i've just bought has T1R's on it and i'm not impressed. I've had Rainsport 2's and 3's in the past, which are both two soft in the sidewall and made the car feel like it was rolling over the sidewalls when corning hard. Also had...

    Best fast Road Brake setup

I've ordered Genuine Renault rear disc and pads with new nuts and washers, with Brembo plain disc and pads for the fronts. I'll see how i get on with this setup and then revisit if need be, i figured the brembo pads are only £30. So might as well try these out before throwing £130+ on pads...

    Best fast Road Brake setup

If standard is the best setup then great, it'll save me some cash. Just while i'm changing everything, i'd rather pay a little more now and get something better if I can without going all out and replacing the calipers and mounts, etc.

    Best fast Road Brake setup

This is my issue with choosing pads, it seems quite split on whether they're good or crap. I've run standard Brembo Disc and Pads on my old 182, which were decent. Just hoping to improve on it a little if possible. Sounds promising, have you tried anything else to compare with? These the...

    Best fast Road Brake setup

I was leaning more towards this setup initially, as it does seem one of the more popular. I thought the RC6 were more track based than the RC5+ to be honest, so i've not really considered them. Have you any experience with the DS2500 too, to compare?

    Best fast Road Brake setup

I thought the RC5+ was suppose to improve the squealing issue the original RC5's had, are the revised pads still bad? They better than the DS2500 for squealing or general performance? To be honest my main concern is cold performance when moving away from OEM pads, i'd like something that will...

    Best fast Road Brake setup

Bought a 182 this weekend and I need to replace the front and rear disc and pads. I know the standard setup is already pretty good when fresh, but I was hoping to improve the stopping power a little. Car will be used for driving to work in mainly, but there are some fun roads to throw it...
