Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Indeed, I may not bother straight away, my 3G still does everything I need it to and more.
Figured that when the initial wave of willy waving has passed and the operators start being more competitive with it I may pounce then...
Had this problem from time to time on both mine and my girlfriends iPhone, in the past I've fixed it by multi-editing the ID3 info, making sure it all matches. But I've never really understood the actual cause of it, anybody any the wiser?
This isn't my pic, but it's the same problem:
It...
The biggest hurdle so far is the fact the fking thing only has a CDRW, makes installing the 6GB .ISO a bit of a problem. Will Mac's boot from USB flash drives if I unpack the .ISO?
Think it's 2008, and no DVDRW drive... Pap!
Any other ideas?
Cheers Chris.
Did you have any issues when partitioning the drives for NTFS?
Fuzzy, well it's for the Mrs, I think the less complexity the better, although I do appreciate it could be more convenient to go down the VM route. How well does the VM function within OSX? Any niggles?
Thought there's enough fanboys on here to pop a question at ;)
The GF has an intel Macbook which currently is running Tiger, today I was planning to update it to Snow Leopard, and via Bootcamp install Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.
Is there anything I need to be wary of? From my understanding I...

Replacing my 3G through insurance, back of the case has been cracked for some time. Nice crisp new 3G to sell.
Go to Sony support site, download the drivers you'll need [chipset/wlan/ethernet] to get you up and running. Download an OS of your choice [assuming that like my Vaio FZ, they didn't supply an OEM Windows disc], reformat and do a clean install - it's the only way to be happy with your machine...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I can confirm that any contact with sand will put some nice scratches in the 3G glass. I've had my 3G for well over a year, it's been around the world, lived in a backpack, and the only thing that's really scratched it has been...
Re: iPhone 4G (No longer rumours)
Which stinks of Apple forcing people into upgrading, clever, but ridiculous. We all know the 3G can handle multi-tasking, Backgrounder works perfectly well.
With a little patience I'm sure 'the scene' will create a hacked IPSW or tool for masking the...
I know it's not quite within budget but the Panasonic G20/G25 ranges are immense, might be worth shopping around:

Re: iPhone "must have" apps
Fundamentally the same, but the UI and website aspects of it are for me very useful. I do equal mixture of jogging and cycling.
It won't cost anything additional on your O2 bill, but if you used it 24/7 I'd imagine you could expect a warning (initially only a warning). I used it for 6 months and thought it was excellent.
Only cost is your monthly sub, worth looking at Grooveshark as well, not sure they have an app yet...
We found standardising some of the drivers was a massive help, some of them for example we used a generic Laserjet driver [despite them being Canon], helped reduce any individual device related problems.
Xenapp is pretty fking good tbh, as was PS4.
We built a new Xenapp farm on completely new HW a few months back, runs fantastically well. Printers have always been an issue for Citrix historically, some good tools and articles on this site, including the default printer tool -...
Got all of the CBT Nuggets you need (which IMO are a lot better than the courses). Don't mind putting them (videos of me) on a DVD for you and meeting you, only problem is I won't be in London until middle/end of next week.
PM me your address and I can send them if you need them sooner.
BTW...
