Yeah my mate has a 265bhp Prodrive Impreza. He got it after his old 172 and he's already thinking of trading it in. Too thirsty.
To post pics you need to go somewhere like www.photobucket.com, register, upload pics and come back here. Then paste the pic URL from photobucket into the thread...
Racing Blue? Arctic Blue? (Arctic's the metallic).
Nice cars. Thirsty when you put your foot down but I can get 37mpg if I drive casual.
Turns a lot of heads.
Apparently, if someone leaves negative feedback, you can leave a response to it.
In your response you leave his email address or phone number. Then you contact ebay saying you didn't mean to. They can't edit feedback only remove it.
I'd only try this as a last resort IF he leaves it.
I...
Funny enough I was looking at the feedback of someone called 'bhpking'.
He sells a similar thing for £7.99 and it looks like he sells about 5-10 of these everyday. He's got over 2000 as his feedback made up seemingly mostly of these. That's a lot of mugs and a lot of wonga.
Make's me think...
I'm not with you.
Do you mean you put the nozzle in the hole, pull the trigger and nothing happens?
You are aware that the attendant inside has to press a button before fuel is granted?
Flipping heck. So sorry to see that mate. Must have been some big 4x4 thing.
If I was ever a rubbish enough driver to cause that, I couldn't just drive off. I couldn't live with myself.
I just got 4x 195/45/16 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's off mytyres.net
£234 all in when I mentioned cliosport.net.
I think they were about £60.50 each. I would have gone for 205/45/16's but they were £77 each.
Took about ten days though as they came from Germany.
Fitting at my local tyre...
I know people like to individualise cars but to me, I'd sooner my car looked the way it was intended. I just like to make my look like a spiffing example of one.
When it's all said and done, these car designers are paid big bucks to come up with works of art (172 lol), rather than some £5 an...
A wire brush is exactly that.
A brush with hard, sharp metal prongs rather than hairs.
If you go over the caliper with a wire brush like you would brushing your teeth (with a toothbrush mind!) you get rid of all the rust and crap. Most hardware stores should sell them for a few quid.
You can carefully prise it out.
I asked at Renault if you can buy the insert seperately. They said you can't.
That's probably why they go for about £20 whenever on ebay.
I just touched mine up with some silver paint. Looks fine.
Depends on how good a job you are looking for. Ideally you take the bits off, wire brush them and brake-cleaner them then paint and replace.
Or you could do a bit of a bodge job like myself. Still looks good enough.
All I did was wire brush them, wash them and paint the visible bits (while...
Do these make much difference? I know they're supposed to help to prevent the car twisting and the suspension struts moving but are they worth it?
Is a rear one much use too?
Cheers.
Not getting that one mate.
Looks like a mini normal plate. What I mean is that the letters are smaller but in proportion with the plate. Normally a 3/4 plate has standard size font which fills the 3/4 plate to the very edges. Yours still has blank areas around the edges like a normal plate...
Every chav and his dad drives a VTS?
No sir. VTR or less maybe. VTS's are rarer and tend to be owned by more mature enthusiasts.
I could just as easily say every chav and his dad/gran drives a Clio. But I wouldn't say that about a 172. Again, owned by the more mature enthusiast.
Jesus H Corbett
Not another VTS thread.
VTS's are fast quick and fun.
Similar performance to a 172, out handle a 172.
In my former VTS owning opinion.
The end.
What's the deal with the 4k rattle?
I've searched a few threads and bumped another with no joy.
My does it really loud and tinny at 4k through 2nd especially.
IS this a warranty replaceable part? My car has 7 months of warranty left.
Would they try and tell me it's wear and tear...
I've got this rattle now in my 53 172.
Is this replaceable under warranty?
Will they try to palm me off and say it's wear and tear?
How can I tell them that it is a warranty fix?
I hope so, I've heard that they only give money back if the auction is in there protected scheme or something. Just wondering why they removed it.
The seller is totalbodyimage item number 9505694877 but that won't show anything now.
Cheers.
