    cant recommend a charger but... removing the battery to charge would help stop the car being stolen. my old man stores his TT in the garage and just leaves the bonnet up to trickle charge. full on charge is a full on charge, trickle charge is a very slow charge over a long period.

    you can spend a lot on digital calipers and you get what you pay for. have a look on a site called cutwel, its where I get my milling cutters from. they have a whole range including waterproof ones. not cheap though
