I had these on a set of F1's in 195/50/15, compared to the RS2's (205/45/16) they were better in the wet and dry, only slightly, but enough to notice the difference when i put my old wheels back on with the RS2's. However the RS2's have done over 10k miles and still have at least 3mm thread...
Actually thinking about it I've not allowed for the extra tyre width, do its going to be 13mm extra, might be better off ditching the spacers or going down to 5 or 10 mm which will get me similar to what I'm running now.
Might put the standard 182 wheels on tonight with the 20mm spacers and...
I'm currently running 15" F1's with 20mm spacers, Eibach Prolines and camber bolts set to max (believed to be about 1 degrees but actual is unknown).
The 16" TD Pro Race 1.2's i've bought are ET35, am i likely to have issues with rubbing? I'm going to be running 205/45 tyres.
It's only 8mm...
Looking to get some locking wheel nuts for use with the kTec Stud conversion. They need to be open ended as the studs are pretty long, with a suitable key to accommodate the stud length (68mm).
Can only find them on eBay, and i'm just a bit apprehensive about buying such items from non known...
I paid £15 for 20 minutes yesterday. But they actually gave me 2 lots of 15 minutes. To be honest 10 minute stints would have been better for me. I had to keep slowing down to give myself a break. Wrist and back were killing me.
Managed a 26.9 on my second run, which I thought was pretty good...
I found the Rainsport 2 tyres lost a lot of grip in wet and dry weather when the tread got to around 2.5-3mm, switched the rears and fronts around (rears were on around 5mm, and instantly it was improved.
Now been running the Rainsport 3's for about a month, wet weather grip is definitely...
Upgrading the mounts will however create more vibration in the car.
I tried the Evol dog bone mount, ended up taking it off and selling it on after a couple of week, because the added vibration was horrible. It was brilliant at full throttle and did improve gear changes, but for a road car...
Engine dynamics have a list of different engine builds that they do. Might be worth looking on there, even if its just for an idea of cost. They can do the rebuild or just sell you the parts so that you can do it yourself.
I know it says not to message about selling parts off the car, but I'd be interested in the wheels with a part ex for my old 182 cup pack wheels with RS2 tyres, with a decent amount of money your way. I'm only in notts, so can collect.
Full suspension refresh I'd guess would be the best place to start. ie:

No point working around old worn parts.
I got 350 miles out of a tank recently (36.71mpg), which was about £55 to fill @ 1.269p per litre. Mixed driving, but taking it pretty easy. Normally get anything between 280 and 320 out of £50 at the current rate of about 126.9p per litre.
I had a company Insignia diesel SRi (160bhp version)...
I do a similar commute, roughly 16 miles to work with little traffic, but go through the town Centre to the gym most evening after work. I work 9 till 5 so worst of the traffic and I can still manage 30 - 35 mpg calculated on a full tank, depending on how heavy my foot is
I've had the on board...
Engine dynamics do a turbo conversion kit in 230 bhp or 280 bhp, if you want a simple kit. I believe they fit it too.
Don't know how good they are though
I've just bought a set of RS3's for my new 15's. Mainly for the price (£150 delivered for 4), I'm currently thinking that these will be my winter wheels and i'll then get a nice set of wheels for summer use with something more expensive rubber. But undecided yet.
Been running RS2's for the last...
I've just upgraded our Virgin media package which i thought was a pretty good deal. I have to have Fibre Broadband too so options are a little slim. Pay £50 for 6 months then it goes up to £55 for 6 months. 30mb internet (soon to be 50mb) unlimited, XL tv package with Free BT sports HD, and...
Got 320 miles from full to fuel light coming on, then 340 miles from full to filling up again. £55.50 to fill up at 127p/l, so 35.37 mpg. Computer was actually reading 35.5 mpg, so fairly accurate.
Mostly commuting to and from work mixture of built up areas and country roads, and i drive into...
Never had this done to my car, but seen it a lot where i live, few months after we moved in someone had run along our street and several others slashing tyres, luckily for me it was only down one side of the street, the opposite to ours. Must have done 60-70 cars. Hopefully one day they'll get...
Had my 182 since March last year, having gearbox replaced today due to a failed diff (along with the clutch while its all out), also had to have a new rear caliper, brake senser, dogbone mount and wiring cleaned up.
On buying the car had the belts replaced, disc and pads all round, tyre all...
Sell this due to getting the Clio.
Probably not get any interest on here, but worth a try.
