Fasn only comes on when the engine tesmp excessed 105 or 100 degree (depends on speed the cars doing) standing it still for 10 minutes should set it off though.
Renault type D coolent should be the only stuff used usualy topped off at service its the big bottle bolted to the bulkhead
Just adjust the wirng so that they work with the lights. There a drawing somewhere on here and another somewhere on the net showing what colour wires need swoping do a google search.
Induction kit, yep just need to make it fit.
Its the synco whioch don't like change down like that so either blip the throttle or double de clutch.
As for the optimim chnage up you need a RR check realy.

To fit not to difficult need the mounts realy and the drivshafts making to fit (Not sure if stock one swill fit) then need to wire it p.
Might as well buy a whole 1.8 Vlver though and use the bits then can decide if you want to run the old loom etc.
There a pain to do big engine small bay 5.1 hours work.
Make sure you have the correct tools to do it.
They are reliable just electrics etc can often be problem coil packs etc. There very good though realy compared with laods of other supposed good reliable cars.
On option much cheaper than the bolts is to use the none RS hub bolt its realy easy to setup wheras camber bolts are a bit of a apin plus expensive the noen RS ones are 13mm so give 1mm give which is probaly three quarters od a degree difference.
Otherwsie get some decinet quality fasteners...
They need some miles before they loosen up just like the 172 did.
There not eough with decinet miles on them yet hopefully by the time there a few more out there and second hand this forum general hatred of the car will go.

Forget the poly bshes only worth doing that when your realy taking competitive then your looking at rose joinits etc. Poly mount just wear the other parts to much plus ther not made for the car.
AVO's are the popular coilovers to use. There a group buy going at the moment on Willaims Clio...
Nope its fine 10-40 is fine for Renault sports so long as outside temp doens't drop below -20 degrees. The 5-40 protects down to -25 degrees.

You can do it yourself best find someoen who knows what there doing realy and get the springs compressors etc.
Takes about 3 hours if you've never done it before. Rears are dead easy.
