Yep in as many months. They keep caliming to fix the dampers when you get a new set they are still doing this even though I supposidly had the "brand new ones" which failed just as quick.
Depends what with and offset but looking at those wheel I'd think andy normal 15 would be better.
Hum what happened to my earlier post.
Get a whole car thats over priced it will fit need to have the driveshafts made up and the wiring well thats up to you how to do it.
A 172 always going to be better 169hp stock vs 137hp for these 1.8 16V when new and that will have become 120hp maybe over...
No Clio realy has sports suspension its just a bir firmer.
Rear shocks and springs straight fit doen't take long.
Front well there a problem with the hubs either
1) Change the hubs and brakes for 172 ones
2) Drill out/use camber bolts to make the hub spacing work.
There no point the...
I'm not sure if MikeT had has car up the quarter mile yet as thats a definate contended to take the record from Matt.
Depends what you deem a Clio as theres a V6 racer out there which is just the V6 looking shell the cars all spaceframed with 4x4 etc so not a realy Clio.
It ony invalidates warentl if they can prove its to balme just some bodywork i wouldn't worry at all about infact I'd do what you want realy not much is easy to blame on mods. Plus most dealers don't care so long as they get paid form Renault.
The seats got the normal lowering on it but its not superb.
I've been meaning to look into it you could lower it if you remove the seat slider and make a metal bar up would lower it by 15~20mm I think. Remove faom from the seat will also lower it.
Might be worth trying for a contribution from Vauxhall.
Its the 2.2 engine I take it I'm sure Matts got some brand new ones in stock if so.
If its been serviced by a VAT registedd garage and the books stamped and proper Vauxhall parts are used themmthe warently is still in place (no idea what...
Stop means stop the engine as its overheating its 101 degrees r somthing it comes on (depends on car speed)
Check the sensor as said most likly failed also check see if your cooling fans comming on but that not that likly compaired to failed sensor.
You said it belts can hold massive weights so there no real issue. The pictures are tken at a breakers yard so they'll have loads lying round to use.
If you think about it engine weight what 200kg with box at worst a seatbelt is designed to stop a fat guy moving in there seat in a big crash so...
Sounds like the lambeda sensor might have got wet or knocked if the problem continues get under the car near the cat and check the sensors are plugged in etc.
Yep buy a wvalver and use that if you want.
2.0 bottom end cam come from a Megan the Megan head won't work easiys so use your 1.8 head its not as good as the Williams one but it fits and works and more powerful than a stock 1.8 bottom end.
Get a Haynes manual to help with the wiring.
Subframe is seperate its held together on the proper 172 as there a 4th engine mount on the subframe to gearbox.
You can put the engine in from the top if you want. Subframe off easier though just some don't have the facilities to do it that way. If you did drop the engine over the engine can...

Wahser you want the one with the bit of rubber on it 7700266044 prices go up and down a lot £1.10 last time I had to buy one they have been down to 50p...
Cat D is a write off for cars which arn't worth fixing for various reasons your right buts its still written off.
Insures doens't have to do new for old for all crashes. Damaging the rear axle is about £1k at a overpriced dealership and an insurer would pay out for that. The new for old...
Rear wheel bearings do fail a fair bit there push fitted into the brake disk. New ones are £150 or so from Yozzasport with new pads there aboput the cheapest the bearing will come push fitted at that price as well. often they don't.
Garage would spot it right away.
Fitments easy I've got a...
