There a few different types of belts on that engine there usualy two belt one powers just the alternator then the one behind this completly seperate powers the PAS pump and air con.

To check if its got enough oil you have to get the car on the level and try and get some more in if it comes out again then its full.

Get it changed quicke if it breaks as they do its a £1k bill minimum as its takes out the cambelt 99.99% of the time.
