Stock ones is good enough just stick with it or go for a Hill power kit one you have to cut some of the metal where the washer bottle is and reposition the bottle.

Anywhere with the Renault tools yes to many engine have been ruined by places using hand made tools or having a go.

Shock life won't be to bad after a few month it all depends some people have cars with 60k on lowering springs on stock shocks and still are happy with the ride I wasn't happy with mine after 50k on stock springs.
