Apples previous policy was that soon as a shipping date is announced all mac purchasers after that point will be eligible for a free upgrade to the new version, I can't see why this would be any different for leopard.
Your mate knows f**k all then, the actual process is already described on the O2 iPhone site!
The process will be:
1) Buy phone for retail price.
2) You transfer your existing number to an iPhone contract and start your 18 month lock-in.
Dammit!!!
Actually scrap that, I probably should have written "LAN parties" and he's probably the life and soul of those!
"..this one time at home, I opened 5 boxes...."
Yeah, that was my thought. People were going on about it being as good if not better than the digisender gold or something (which is 100 odd quid). I couldn't justify spending 100 quid on it so I thought that there was nothing really to lose trying it for 27 quid, luckily it's bloody...
Ok. So I cancel my contract, request an unlocking code for the phone and they'll charge me 20 quid for the pleasure of the code - fair enough, I already knew about this.
So I phone up last night asking where the code is and I get "Oh, sorry - the customer service representative typed in the...
I wrote my own because all the ones I tried were pretty crap.
Major advantage of writing your own is that:
1) Integrates with your site without issue!
2) You can tailor it to work exactly how you want it to.
3) No third party checkout required. Transactions handled entirely inside our site...
We just junked our Nortel exchange in favour of trixbox.
Asterisk is very cool, works like a charm and is ultimately flexible.
For a test I wrote a little php script that handles a caller to see how easy it is to interact with them, turns out it's super simple. Going to write a script to...
Our machine was built for us. We had rather random requirements that we needed to be able to machine biggish things (our machine can handle something like 1000mm by 600mm by 400mm deep) but also do precision things, like accurately engrave traces to less that 8 thousands of an inch.

Cheers guys. Managed to find it, but the routing seems screwed or something. It's very slow from here, works fine from home though.
There's a lot of crap on that site but a few interesting pieces of information. We've just got a CNC machine here at work so I'm playing with it!
Can somebody tell me the ip address of:
www.cnczone.com
For some reason I can't resolve it at work but can at home, need to manually add it to my hosts file.
Cheers
Got iLife08 and iWork08.
Haven't used iLife08 yet, but when it installed it needed at least a G5 or Intel processor for iMovie, so it didn't install that.
Have used Pages in iWork08, can't remember how different it was to the 06 version though.
