Tbh - the stick shift (to use the Americanism) was wasted on me with the G25. It just felt a bit gimmicky and a hindrance to use, more than anything. That said, it can be switched to sequential mode with simple up and down notches. That might be a little better, I guess?
Definitely want to get...
Nice.
Don't these things (or is it Mk.1's?) have silly priced accessories like the GTI badge on the front grille and the red piping?
I know you want to keep it original, but a very subtle drop in ride height really suits these, imo.

Looks like Ubi will be giving away Assassin's Creed 4 : Black Flag between the dates of the 12th and 18th December too.
Just over another day left on this, I think....

See what you think of the pedal feedback too. A common complaint is that they feel far too soft and lack any form of feedback.
I bought the below a few months back, but again, haven’t really had the chance to properly test how much difference there is over the original springs. Ludicrously...
I ended up getting one of the below from my wife as a Christmas present. I did really want one of the full sit down chairs and setup like what @McGherkin uses - but I just don’t have the space unfortunately. Hence mine had to be a full-away option. Looking forward to trying it though - I miss...
Has the wheel turned up yet? Would be interesting to see what your thoughts are on it within games.
It’s a game-changer (no pun intended) with regards to the smoothness that you can go in and out of corners with.
The two areas that immediately spring to mind are the Melbourne Hairpin and...
This beauty is back on Steam for £7.49 for the Master Collection.
Definitely recommended for anyone with even a slight interest in RTS games. Still plays superbly imo - I’ve even got a current skirmish save on the go from yesterday with me and an AI playing as the Russians against four enemy...
Quite liked the quick go of the demo I tried (thanks @McGherkin) - will probably nab it once it drops a little in price.
Is there a full car list of what’s available in PC2?
I’ve no experience of the current gen XBox or PlayStation - but when I had both the 360 and the PS3, I much preferred the UI of the Sony. The Microsoft one annoyed me - perhaps why I stopped using it?
There are loads of Bluetooth keyboards out there - I’ve got one and it certainly makes typing a fair amount, much easier.
Definitely recommend the likes of Netflix and iPlayer as a download (amongst others) if you’re using it on the go.
I bought the uprated spring set for my G25 pedals, but I haven't used them yet.
Got a new stand for the wheel and pedals - one that I can actually bolt on to this time. I'll be using that over Christmas - but I'm thinking of removing the clutch pedal altogether. I never use it and it just fouls...
Definitely. Not one of those that you can chuck 20 minutes into and walk away from.
I just camped in a corner when I first started and took pot shots at the other team trying to storm the room. Think I killed two of them before they got me - which I was surprised at.
One of those games that...
Less than £6 on Steam at the minute - over £191 of DLC for it as well, though!
Got a mate that raves about it. Tried it and found it very technical - almost like applying brains to a hybrid team deathmatch game of COD and Payday 2.
The starting kit you have is woefully poor. You’re definitely...
Anyone tried this slightly bonkers, yet strangely fun game? Less than a fiver on Steam at the minute and is still in alpha...

Mine went from slightly spluttery to the EML flashing very oocasionally to being totally undriveable within about 20 miles. The code I got back was....
DF053 – Cylinder 2, injector circuit, short circuit to +12V
Luckily, quite specific as to what the problem was. I bought a replacement...
I'm scared of looking at mine.
It has bubbled rust to one side, but it's been there for years. Doesn't seem to have gotten any worse either - but I know shoving my head in the sand about it won't do much good!
They've tweaked it slightly in the last patch. You do actually pick stuff up automatically now - but you have to pause slightly over it to do so.
Pretty pointless when it's all kicking off though.
You're on PC, aren't you?
£26 for a Steam key from cdkeys, instead of Steam's price of £39.99....
