I think if theyve mucked you about several times then you may have a case for compensation. But if theyve only failed once and theyre making an effort to put it right then you really will just have to leave it at that I reckon. It does happen.
Ok, fair enough. Very surprised to read 117 seconds though to be fair it is pretty much the hardest to get off.
I would never rely totally on it and it only forms part of my car defence. Hopefully by the time they think they have to bypass alarm, steering lock, mul-t-lok and disklok theyll...
Theres no way a Disklok would be removed in two mins (show me the proof). I was told by two reliable sources (one a security shop and the other my old mate who used to steal cars) that they are by far the best.
I use a Disklok, Mul-t-lok (gear lock) and standard Citroen Ultrasonic...
My wee VTS = 935kg with 130 bhp therefore around 139bhp per ton but by the time you add approx 80 kg for the average male driver, approx 128bhp per ton.
You have to do it like (most of) the rest of us.
Progression in level of performance of your cars and build up of no claims.
I had to drive my mams 1.2 until 22. So what. At least I had wheels. At least you have your own car.
Try elephant and getting your own policy with your mother as a second driver (often slashes the quote).
Tbh though, its not gonna be cheap at 18 and with no no claims. Youre probably looking at £2k+.
Id stick with the 1.2 and build up some no claims. Its no good being on your mothers...
When no one immediately replies to a thread, all you have to do is go find your old thread and bump it back to the top of the forum by replying to it yourself. Most people use the word bump.
Its just you have two how to change oil threads and an oil leak as well thread.
If you type your name...
Ill get flamed, but never really liked black 172/182s.
Always preferred boring silver or the flame red.
If I was buying a 182, Id have to spend the extra and get yellow/inferno.
Cracking price though.
Ive noticed that most peoples number plates are getting hard to read.
Youre really supposed to keep it clean but as theyre so many dirty ones out there, they couldnt pull over everyone. Leave it black!
Is there any way to find out who a car is insured with?
Dunno if it would require someone who works for an insurance company.
Theres a car round my way with all sorts of mods and I know for a fact that they arent declared.
Ordinarily Id just stay out of this sort of thing but Im itching...
I beg to differ. I may have been a hypocrite if I was still doing it now. People change. Like I say I was trying to make him see the error of his ways as Im sure he has.
Lol, the daftest part is Essex boy hasnt yet replied at all to confirm any details!

140 is wrong Maxim. Wrong wrong wrong. I havent read the thread. If its a single lane road then its absolute stupidity. If its on a motorway then if I had to decide, I would say its better than 75 in a 30.
A motorway is straight, offers good visibility, crash barriers, no proper junctions...
