Oh Im sure it can be. It is however thick, never looks right, impossible to touch up and a total PITA if you ever want/need to refinish a wheel again in the future. If it was that good, OEMs would use it and as far as I'm aware, they all still use a paint based process.

It means it's boring on a long run, which was my point. A small hatch is fun in town or on the Twisties and boring when you're on a long run with no acceleration at motorway speeds. Horses for courses!
