Thanks Tom. Once the new wheel arrives I'll video my current one, it's comical.
I've had omp and sabelt ones. Always fancied a momo but the prices were a bit steep.
Me too. In fact I prefer it to the team as the momo engraving is more subtle, but is the same size and design as the team (perforated leather on the inside, all black, very similar shape, etc) but £60 less for a nearly new wheel
That's why I was asking as I'd never seen this wheel...
Got a link to the pop rivits?
I paid £11 for some from Renault (come in a pack of 10) for my side skirt and they was silver as opposed to the black rivits with the triangle centers
It does matter in the fact I bought my current wheel cheap and it's VERY bendy, in fact it's dangerous. Now its not a big named wheel (omp/momo) but it still unsafe. Being that there is fakes out there I don't want her to buy it, me get it and fit it and it have the same problem
The seller has...
My GF has bought me a steering wheel for the ph1 as my current one is cheap and bendy. She see this advertised on another Clio Facebook group. She knows I'm after a MOMO team 300mm and this looks exactly like it... But the writing on the wheel is in black unlike this common yellow.
Did they...
Go to halfords and get the 200 piece socket set for £100 odd. It's a great kit and has everything you need.
Also get a low Jack and axle stands from there too. The total will be less than £150 I reckon :)
I'll see if I can get a pic of the one at work with the prolines on Dave. Sits lovely. Got them off @Russ16v and was cheapest around and arrived quickly :)
I think it just blew a rod. If you look a few pages after we take apart the sump and it had shattered a lot of the engine out! Definitely get some ARP rod bolts to prevent it happening again.
A 2nd hand engine is the cheapest option IMO.
I did the same a few months ago in my ph1. We bought a doner ph1 and took the engine out. Car was bought for £550 which we made back on stripping the car, plus I had a new engine fitted. Added some ARP bolts for extra strength.
The tray that's connected to the underside of the bumper. The one that has 2x 10mm bolts that holds the underneath on. Not to be confused with the oil tray which has 4x 10mm bolts and can be run without one, which I do on mine.
Painter guys at work have got these. One in silver with silver wheels and black interior, the other a purple with silver wheels and cream interior. Both lovely cars.
Get some eibach prolines on there Dave.
