Yeah I remember that thread, although all i was wanting to do was purchase a 2nd hand unichip and just pay £150-£200 for the remap. Iv seen a few for sale, but they are from different cars and maybe the wrong ones out of the 3. iv emailed Dastek but awaiting a reply!

Right due to plans possibly going tits up (as usual) does anyone know what type of unichip is right for the valver? I have heard there are 3 types that cover all cars, and certain cars use one and others another.
I think I need the 1st type which supports distributor ignition.

yeah its actually a volvo 440 turbo clutch under Renault 5 but it fits the clio. Make sure its the uprated one and not the other 2 which arent as good!
get the uprated GTT clutch from GSF. Cheaper than a standard clutch and iv had one for the past year and its bang on!
very sharp clutch though, takes some getting used to!
well iv ordered a new coolant temp sensor and timing sensor so im gonna try those, also got a 94L 16v ECU coming instead of the unknown 19 16v one iv got at the min. After that theres not a lot left to try, but im confident that lot will sort it!

no, they are suppose to be the same but internally they ar slightly different. I know someon on here had problems swapped it for original ecu and it worked fine.
when i went on diagnostics machine it was coming up with ecu error too like.
should be ok, just ensure that its fully dried out before putting any power through it!
my sister dropped her mobile in the bath, and then switched it on! fuked it up!
Been having problems with a dodgy idle for months now. It also cuts out when coming to junctions occasionally untill it is fully warmed.
Anyway iv got a couple of other things to try but filmed it today, as i had to start the car up anyway, seen as its sat on teh drive not doing much...
yeah thats what i meant. mi old man reckoned if he used it it would probably fuk all the car up. but it would be ok if it was out the car! he said he needed a mig welder for it really! hes owned it about 30+ years.
i need to sort mine as well mate as my MOT has run out. The cars not ont eh road at the min due to gearbox being shafted. heres a pic i was sent!

i fitted one and its no different. easy to do urself.
when my thermo was shagged, the oil never went above 80, and the temp never above minimum.
now tempo is about half way and oil over 100 on normal runs
right ur about 13 miles away mate. do u reckon i could make it? if it goes wrong is it likely to fek mi engine up at all? hehe
iv moved about out drive today to release the brakes when i was letting the engine run for a bit and it seemed ok. like u said i could always fill the box up just...
