im thinking of going for this with Andy at GDI over the unichip.
Has anyone had any experiance with one?
also would this be suitable for possible TBies at a later stage??
Iv emailed andy but awaiting a reply, just wondered if anyone else had any info about them?
cheers...
no, just bought a standard one! good job you told me the advanced one was causing you problems though, or id have probably bought an advanced one!
cheers :)
true. iv had a fair bit of work, and the car always produces good power, but its yet to be mapped! so should squeeze some more power out of it yet. hopefully be with Andy, iv emailed ya earlier on mate :)
was about £15 from BB tuning. was ordering some other stuff too.
reason for changing this was very occasional starting problems, only ever had twice so thought id change it anyway!
Some of you will remember I posted a video of my dodgy idle, and cutting out last week.
Well today I changed the Coolant Temp Sensor and timing sensor, and all seems to be well. Although iv not had chance to go for a drive due to no gearbox. The car now idles as it always did and the revs...
rollers were prob a tad high, seems a bit too much for those mods mate!
did u get a second opinion on another RR???
a fair few people have them mods on here with a williams and arent seeing them figures. even ones with cams, headwork, etc arent seeing that high!
yeah, definately wont be driving very far, even if its full of oil. i drove like a right fairy today, even got overtook by a 1.2 nova with 4" exhaust. Not happy! hehe

Tut tut, shouldnt treat your lady with such disrespect - you should only change gear at 3000 rpm :p
it was one mistake guvnor! honest! wont be doin full throttle changes again! ever! lol
well i could fix the crack but its still fuked inside, something must have given way to cause it to crack? although it seemed to drive as normal.
think ill fix it, fill it up with oil ready to drive to the place to get the new box fitted. i.e Jayss house hehe
in fact im getting pretty...
Managed to get to a pit today to have a good look at the gearbox as it pissed out all its oil a few weeks ago.
The housing is cracked so something must have given way inside. It drove the 2 mile ok though, alhough i didnt touch the revs hardly all the way...
