Tyres make a massive difference as ive recently found out. I used to run a mixture of partly worn kumo and bridgestone which were awfull in the wet i now have brand new 15"pe2's and the grip is unbelievable.

Was the bulb you bought duel element? The fuses under the bonnet are to the right near the battery under a black cover.

Just spoke to the guy seems very nice told me that the service was done on 52k which was march sometime and that only advisory was a cv joint because it was so low(Ive since put coilovers on and lowered it much more)
