Oil won't pour out if you just unplug the switch to clean up, only if you unscrew it. As above, oil will come out so have a bung ready. P/N - 497610324R

Did you twist the piston all the way in to the caliper prior to fitting your pads?

I can help but you’ll have to be more specific as there’s lots of bolts, many of which are UNF (fine thread) and not your usual off the shelf bolts that you can find at Halfords. Dm me some pictures of the ones that don’t fit and I’ll work through it with you.
