Mine came through the door card. Telltale signs are water sitting in the rubber with a line of water dripping into the footwell.
The solution was to take the door card out and reseal it with Butyl tape. That wouldn't explain why the sill is filling up with water though.
Have you checked...
The last owner said 920kg but I think it's heavier than that. It has got a fibreglass tailgate, the bonnet's guts are ripped out, no carpet, racing tank (20 ltrs) but full interior.
My last car was fully stripped out but had a full RO22 roll cage, plastic windows, one seat. That weighed 940 kg...

My 1 photo from Croft. They actually managed 4 in total, that’s how bad the red flags were. We spent more time in the garage or pit lane, than out on track.
Thanks Jon. That’s the only footage of it in the wild. Super quick car. My mates in the Megane 250 Cup said they couldn’t get near me going down that straight. Just need to sort the handling out now and grow a pair 🎱🎱
I’m not attending it sadly. I’m just going to get the bits done to this car and then book a day, probably June/July. I’m working that day as well otherwise I’d have popped over 😔
yep. Have you ran your Clio on PS3s before? I mean if you have and you prefer the AD08Rs then that‘s an opinion based on experience, and a valid one at that.
No hate fella.
I just think for an old road car, with lots of wear and tear, the smart move is to try and stay as close to factory as...
I’m a Yokohama fan boy. I literally spend thousands of pounds a year buying them. I drove my track car to Croft this morning on PS3s, I drove around the circuit on my Yokos and then drove home on my PS3s.
the OP said no track or boy racer s**t. Just go with PS3s Dave 👍
Great day at Croft, although we were having so much fun we never got any pictures 🤦🏻♂️
Here‘s one from the arse end on the way.
Met @SharpyClio for the first time. Good to meet you fella and thank you for the loan of the towing eye. We got sorted in the end.
@Brigsy popped in with his...
It was about 4 years ago when I had mine replaced, but I'm 99% sure the plastic clip in your picture comes bonded on the screen. I've also recently had a new rain sensor replaced and that didn't have the plastic surround, rather it clips into it.
The Rain sensor is - P/N 8200063060
Yeah, it'll be brilliant once you've had it all sorted.
My RB had some remedial work before my purchase. No rot thankfully, but just shabby workmanship. Panels and bonnet out of alignment. Paint on one panel the wrong shade.
Our lads sorted it and it's so satisfying when everything lines up...
Have they had a look over the rest of the car for you? Get some Dynax UC or S50 in the cavities of that bonnet when it comes out of paint. Just to preserve for years to come.
No problem. As I said above, it's usually a combination of factors on these cars, including tyres, wheel alignment, and suspension component integrity.
But they're track day tyres, not road tyres.
I had Yokohama AD08RS on my 182. Those are the equivalent of NS2Rs.
The car was all over the place - tramlining here, there, and everywhere. I swapped them out for some Michelin Pilot Sport 3s, and it was like a Rolls Royce in comparison.
I sold a lad...
