.....cus im heading in your direction! I feel a good drive coming on, havent really explored over that way at all. Anyone know of any good roads to look out for or any cool places to visit?, (bearing in mind on my drives i dont usually get out the car, just drive there drive back!) hope the...
does anyone remember a program a few years back (probably not) where they put 50 cars on a car park, and got two proffesional car security men to try and break into all of them. One owner was talking to the camera spouting off about he bought the car mainly for its security meanwhile behind him...
probably dont check their e-mail much, try ringing always answer that! or pay a visit like i did, very helpful, just remember to lock your doors, its not in the most pleasant parts of wolverhampton!
there is a street in Lowhill, wolverhampton called fifth avenue and i swear the speedhumps are at least 8 inches high! Its one of those streets where you have to drive in the middle of the road to avoid all the glass etc in the gutter.
dont know what their sevice is like yet, but they seem like sound chaps, it;s not that far from me and i have been inquireing about a full respray there. They had got a 172 exclusive that they had just reshelled and the paint job was immaculate!
ive heard that on the road 7cm is the max hight and apparently 90% of Walsalls (where i live) speed humps are over this and are illegal! Dont know about private property though, they might be able to differ as its not a public road.
clio 16v 1.8, 5years protected no-claims, no points (yet) 22 years old £990 FC
west midlands post code, really not good, my mate who dosent live far from me still insures his car at his mums address in staffordshire which makes it £300 cheaper!
looking through some old pics, found one of my old rt. Just wondering if anyone on here might have bought it? I part-xed it for my 16v at chartoak motors in wilmslow in sept 2001.http://www.angelfire.com/or3/derv/rt2.jpg
i wasnt impressed with sutton, was looking for an rt a few years back, they were highly uninterested, wouldnt let me test drive anything, they saw a guy in a suit behind me and practically shoved me out the door.
over the summer i might try and put a bit more of a shield around the filer element but not seal it off completly and see about getting that scoop. To be honest i havent noticed any difference in performance at all, but it does get peoples heads turning when i boot it down the road! I was just a...
Ive had my valver for 19 months, and in that time ive done 21k, So far (touches wood) ive had one wheel bearing replaced! Ive had other stuff done but nothing that was neccesery.
Does every single car have a limiter?
i dont think the older cars do, my old micra must have gone to about 9000rpm lol! didnt have a rev counter but it used to scream. Also my mate had a 36 year old morris 1100, he thrashed the bollox off it, untill he knackered the valves, but it wouldnt die...
ive had this, doing 25mph in a 30 zone got flashed, was a bit shocked and looked in my rear view mirror, and saw a guy pulling off his driveway half way down the camera lines and it flashed him too! Was down to a faulty camera.
If you do a search, there is a vid of ben (green 16v) racing a peugeot 306 hdi. I have a vid of a williams booting it up the road and of course there is my own 0-60 test:)
dosent make a hell of a lot of differnce, good for holding the revs on a bend rather than having to change up, making it more useful on those fast lanes! though i still seem to have a bit of a flat spot.
so far ive got hill power chip and induction kit, Cat back scorpian exhaust, but ive got quite a weighty install, hopefully im getting a full respray soon so ill strip out the system and see if its any quicker!
didnt spin at all, my speedo needle just bounces a lot! it gets better as i get past 40. I used my new digital camera, kodak dx4330, has movie mode (as you can tell!) i just blu-takd it to the steering coloum bit.
anyone downloaded this yet? does it work? i did have some footage of me caining it down some lanes but it was too dark for the camera to pic up anything! doh!
Hope this works! i presume you right click save as, not my best attempt, i hit the limiter in first and i was going slightly uphill.http://www.angelfire.com/or3/derv/000_0002.MOVhttp://www.angelfire.com/or3/derv/000_0002.MOV
