what i did in my 16v was to use the factory wire from the door to the headunit, then snipped the wires from the connector block and then added on my own wire with bullit connectors and run that up the passenger side of the car to the amp.

fred, in most cars most of the power cables for the car (ie brake lights etc) run down the drivers side of the car, so ive always run the power and remote down that side and the other cables down the passengers side, never got any interference, even in fords which are terrible for it!

that does seem odd! firstly most of the bits are the same anyway and even if they were different you would think the 16v parts would be easier/cheaper to get hold of!

right at the mo, i have two TS-w1200c pioneer 12" subs at 800w (4 ohm)each running off a kenwood kac-ps401m amp (1200w at 2 ohm) so realistically im probably running about 500-550w to each sub. now to save a bit of weight im thinking of getting rid of one sub and the amp and getting another amp...

ive only got an iduction kit and cat back exhaust and i booted it through an underground carpark and set off about 6 alarms, think i might get a decat and see if i can make it ten!

well, ive been talking to the guys at cliospares in wolverhampton, about getting the whole car done in iceburg silver, gonna pop up the weekend and see if they can do it. then ive just gotta sort myself out an old shed to tat about in whilst its being done!
