I've tried £1500, but £1700 is his lowest. That's good of you Martin but I don't finish work until 10pm, so I'm going to be buying it late tonight. I've already seen it and been a ride in it so I'm happy with the car, just slightly suspicious due to the price.
The guy seems okay too, not a chav or shady looking or anything. He just said he's found 6 months work down south that he can't turn down so he needs it gone ASAP.

Well I'm not mechanically minded, so like many people I worry about the 'what-ifs'. This is why until now my cars have all been nearly new. I've been looking at 182's, Type-R's and Fiesta ST's and the Clios definitely seem better value.
Awful review, they're trying to copy Topgear and failing! Not that I like Topgear either! They make Chris Harris look like Patrick Moore!
The 200T looks good IMO, but I agree that I wouldn't want a flappy paddle gearbox. I wouldn't buy one, especially when I could have the ST for less.
Serious question... I'm selling my 1.25 Fiesta for a cheap(ish) daily that will be fine for a trip to the 'Ring in May. Some people think I'm bonkers looking at 182's saying they'll break/won't make it/too old/French tat blah blah blah...
