I'm trying to use the recovery console on an xp installation.
Used the above to blank both the Administrator account and the other admin user's passwords, but the recovery console is still asking for the admin password and hitting enter ain't working.
Any more ideas?
What kind of laptop security products are out there and what is best?
What do you use for Hard disk encryption?
What about physical locks or other deterrents?

You could try right hand clicking on the folder where it pictures were. If you get a "previous versions" tab, then you are laughing.

Someone has just asked me this question about file encryption and windows xp.
If I have a laptop, and I take the hard disk out of it, make it a slave in a desktop computer, does it loose all file encryption? Will I be able to view the files on the laptop hard disk?
1) Install Nokia pc suite.
2) Connect phone (Make sure you install the mms sync app on the phone)
3) Backup phone contents to pc.
4) Run software updater (This will tell you what version of software is on you phone and the latest one that is available to download)
5) Download and install new...
Tried to burn stuff with imgburn and nero and it won't go any faster than 1.2x.
I'm sure I have a similar problem on my xp partition, but I managed to get it fixed.
Anyone help me out?
