I once locked my keys in my mk1 Clio when I was 350 miles from home. I went around the car park and found someone driving in their kangoo. Asked if I could borrow their keys and they fitted my lock barrel perfectly.
Could possibly be a switch fault. These switches are complicated as they use low current switching to work. If the uch detects any problems it puts the lights on as a default. Needs further investigation on clip though,
Could also be moisture that's got to the UPC under the bonnet.
Looks like the end of the dipstick has broken off, just pull the bit that's left harder and it will come out.
Fluids, your screen wash is right in the top right of that picture (on the panel where the wipers are)
Oil filler is the yellow cap on top of the engine
Coolant is just below that in...
Remove wheels, remove 2 13mm bolts holding caliper on (whilst holding 15mm slider), remove caliper. Undo 2 female torx bolts holding the carrier to the axle, remove dust cap to reviel the hub nut. Undo nut and remove disc.
Remove brake fluid reservoir cap and retract caliper with wind back...
They do have an Arb on the rear. It's more of a torsion bar type. It's incorporated into the axle. When you look under your car next take a look inside the axle beam.
For the first fault, does the green tell tale light come on the dash when you turn the lights on? If it does your problem will more than likely be both bulbs, mif it does not, the fault will be further back (fuse or switch)
The second problem will be a fuse, check them all.
Faults on the front airbags are less common. The airbag you have at fault is behind the dash on the passengers side. You will need to whip off the dash top (there's a guide on here) and check the connections to the bag it's self. There are no electrical connections between the ecu and this...
Iv always used the clip on type which clips to the a pillar trim or near the interior light. Much better pick up trom there from experience. Have you got just that type of mic?
Its variable steering. So the lower speed your doing the lighter it gets etc. the speed signal probably comes via the canbus/ muiltiplex system. Thats going to be your problem. Thought about fitting a ehpas system from a dci kangoo?
Iv fitted hundreds of parrots and never removed the dash. Just remove the various trims (under steering colum etc) and cable tie the wire to somthing else.
Sounds like you have had a new screen sifted without the sensor. I take it your auto lights don't work either?
To clarify, to turn auto wipers on you go down one click. It then wipes when necessary. The adjustment on the wiper switch is to adjust the sensitivity.
