Yeah, well nice cars! In the right hands I dont think youd had much of a chance, and forget racing them at high speed, 172, Willys or valvers, not a chance!

I too was considering a complete respray, not in flip paint but Nissan Skyline Blue, but the cost just aint worth it on a Clio, nothing aganst Clios but if you gonna fork out huge wards of cash a a respray get a mental car first; Skyline, Supra, RX-7, etc.
Just my 2ps worth,
Cheers, Simon.

I wanna get an uprated clutch for my vlaver, tempted to go for a Willy one but thinking about getting a high rated one. BB Performance do one rated to 220ft/lb and K-Tec do a Group-N one, anyone tried either of these or know which would be better?
Cheers, Simon.
I wanna get one of these too, Nick Read did some phoning around, I thoink he said the BMW 3.0 Z3 was the one to go for as it was short and fat and had 80mm outlets at both ends. Im not sure how youd fix it to the throttle body as the lip is very small, how would you get a jubilee clip over it...
When you get to WOT the Progressive Controler starts delivering the N2O/Fuel according to what settings youve put in.
The Progressive controler works buy pulsing the N2O/Fuel solenoids on and off to give a progressive delivery of power. You can program start power, full power, build-up time...
Simon,
50 would be cheaper than 100 as you could get away with not having a progressive controler.
To use the NOS you simply have an arm switch mounted somewhere on you dash, when you turn it on it arms the NOS system, then you have a throttle activated microswitch so the the NOS only...
If you want 100bhp extra it aint ever gonna be really cheap as youll need it seting up correctly and you WILL need a progressive controler. Other than that I cant really see a way of getting a cheaper kit thats high quality than buying the Streetblaster 100i from Highpower Systems.
Cheers, Simon.
OK, so if I was to give in to the little nagging voice in my head, what should I buy?
I cant find any Brembo kits for the Clio, AP Racing 4-pots, Willwood 4-pots or TarOx 6-pots? All come with approx 300mm discs.
Just looked at Hi-Specs website, aint that cheap! £800 for 325mm discs, 4-pots and all mounting hardware, anyone know if these are any good? I mean are Brembo and AP really thatmuch better, and is it true AP and Brembo dont dust seal there calipers as theyre meant for race use not road use?
Hiya,
Im soon to be getting rid of the nasty 15" standard rims and sticking on some gorgeous 17" OZ SuperLs. So now I need a big disc brake conversion, for looks obviosly but also coz I want more stopping power.
Id like a 4-pot + big disc upgrade, can anyone recomend one, I would like...
Possibly, RCA cables are shielded so it shouldnt cause inference, I run mine next to each other and theres no adverse effects. Its possible you have a ground loop somewhere, where is the amp mounted?
Your spot on in the fact that modern music doesnt seem to be mastered very well at all, most of the pop/rock music in the charts is just god awful, in terms of quality and production, Oasis are one of the worst for production quality believe it or not, I dont really listern to Jazz or Dance...
Well Ive got a progressive controller, and Im getting N2O and Feul pressure gauges soon and an Air/Feul ratio metre, is it possible to fit a incar adjustable feul regulator that would noly adust the pressure goging to the feul solenoid? I wanna be able to run a true 100bhp extra, not just 100bhp...
Whats the maximum output a standard F7P and gearbox, drivetrain can handle? Just wondering how much NOS I could get away with on a standard engine before something went bang.
Naim is stupididly expensive, Meridian too, The Nait 3 is no longer in production being replaced with the Nait 5, I think theyre about £800 new. Naims top of the range kit, the 500 series is just about the best HiFi you can buy, Ive heard there top rig:-
CDSII, Supercap, NAC 522, NAC522 PSU...
If Im correct ramair induction cant actually increase the pressure of the air the engine is sucking in above 1bar, just letting the engine suck the air in through a long tract means the resriction of the pipework prevents the engine drawing in air a 1bar, the ramair effect just boosts this back...
Nice system, I started off with a Cambridge Audio/Wharfdale setup, my current rig is:-
Marantz CD63MkII KI-Signature
Rega P2
Naim Audio Nait 3
Linn Kans
Sounds absolutly amazing with CD and even better with LPs, you just cant sit still, and Im only at the bottom of the Naims range
Each to there own I guess, but I think the difference in SQ between MP3 and the origonal recording can be heard, agreed its less on 192kbit/s recordings and can be ignored, but like I said, Im NUTS about music, and listerning to music on a HiFi such as Naim really raises your expectations of...
Ram air inducion does work, why you think F1 cars have those massive airboxs sticking out above the drivers head? I think they get something like 20bhp extra at 150mph from them.
