True, but it's only worth doing if you plan on keeping the car.
To spend money on an engine, whilst at the same time saving for a different car, is nothing short of utterly mental.

That's right, i'm a tunnel screaming, videoing, internet sharing *****!
(Richard). :D
5 seconds on google you lazy beggar. lol.
Postcode is PO180PX
We're meeting at Pease Pottage services (in crawley) apparently? It's on the A23. As for time, I have no idea! Have to wait for Motofal to share.
Depends what car it is that you own?
The most important thing is that you go to a specialist to get it done.... Untold numbers of threads about other compnaies and even Renault dealerships f**king up cabelt changes.
This is the way forward! I want to buy something straight line fast and comfortable, like an RS4 and keep the Clio for weekend sillyness.
My postcode is category A, so it's not that that's the problem. Just crash statistics for the scooby / evo i guess?
You should have called yourself AberChriswyth, but there we go.
Welcome mate. Depending on what age your car is, surely you could sell it for a ph1 172 would cost you?
Angry Scotsman strikes again :rasp: lol
As said though... you'd ahve to be mental to spend £3.5k on insurance.... I'd never buy an evo or a scooby, just because of the OBSCENE insurance costs. twice as much as an 06 plate Audi RS4 for me. ridiculous.
Mk3's drop ok on 17's don't they? There's a few folks running kw coilies on mk3's that are pretty low.
Are we talking springs or coilovers here? What are you looking for?
Fair play to you mate. I was fully expecting lots of shouting and swearing in your response.
Try Brentacre, Sky insurance, Chris Knott, Adrian Flux, Greenlight are good but they don't insure cups :(
That's all that I can think of for now. Definitely worth looking around though. If you pay your...
Buy a normal 182. the 'cup' and 'cup packed' ones have stupid bolt spacing on the hubs and virtually no one makes coilovers for them.
The 182 cup isn't light enough to justify the loss of the air con and leather IMO.
I've driven both and there is very little to tell between the 'cup' suspension...
Cheers! No spacers yet, but it's only on Sportlines at the mo, may change when I get coilovers.
I love it stripped :) Wish I'd done it a long time ago!
No :( Basically I've had some issues with work over the last few months, they owe me quite a lot of money; so it's delayed my plans for...
"reason being mileage is low, it had been involved in a pre accident in 2005. This was caused by the bonnet opening whilst the car was driven"
Probably just had the whole front resprayed after that?
