What makes you think that? If they get brighter with main beam switched on, then they are working surely?
Shouldn't be hard to figure out what's happening. Stand in front and get someone to turn on the lights a stage at a time to see what's going on. Or if you don't have a mate to hand park...
What's the guys age got to do with a minor traffic shunt? s**t happens, could have happened to anyone of any age.
Still s**t though, but I'd do what you are planning and swap it all over to a new shell.
I know you've had the alignment done, but is it worth taking it somewhere else just to have them check it? Most places will check it for free and only charge if you need/want it corrected.
It's a myth that the battery life is reduced with wireless charging.
It is less efficient however, so will cost more money to charge your phone, I'd imagine @MarkCup has a spreadsheet showing the extra cost over the life of your phone :tongueout:
I broke my T40 too, think it was on a brake disc retaining bolt.
They're really good at replacing stuff now, no longer need the receipt and I've heard they replace the ratchets now too? Can anyone confirm?
I've recently used some glass based coating from Auto Allure (a trader on here) on my dads car, excellent stuff and well worth it. Not sure I'd pay someone to do it as it's quite pricey, but I have the gear needed so did it myself.
How about a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter to be able to use the impact sockets you have? But as above, I've been using my normal Halfords sockets on my Makita impact driver (160nm) without issue.
My driver is a 1/4 drive but I have a set of 3 adapters to let me put 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2 drive sockets on, so can...
Every release bearing I've had go has made noise with your foot OFF the pedal. Noise tends to go away when the bearing is under pressure.
In fact the one in my mini is noisy now, until I put my foot on the clutch. I'll be leaving it until it gets a lot worse before touching it.
This is the same with any tech though. A 5 year old laptop will be running a lot slower than it did when new, this isn't unique to Apple.
I completely agree that the X will be 'upgraded' next year though, why break the habit of a lifetime?
I can't answer your question, but if it were me I'd be getting the part number off the one on your car and checking it against others.
Although I can't see why they would be different?
Not as far as I know, you should be able to run the 197 head without standalone management. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along soon.
@bloke
Just remember they are only a light that illuminates when turning the wheel, they don't turn with the wheel like a lot of cars do, so you wouldn't be missing out too much.
Isn't the issue getting the 'box in? as the 197 box is too big and the 1*2 box doesn't mate to the block? Needs custom driveshafts, mounts etc. Not a simple drop in job. They you have the electrics side of things, the VVT is different in the 197's IIRC
If you are stumped by front bumper removal, please don't attempt to fix it yourself!
If you do decide to, make sure you have the system vacuumed before undoing anything, even though you have a leak its probably still going to contain some refrigerant and lubricant under pressure. Any of the...
Nice one!
@Sir_Dave
Any ideas on this? I changed the rack on mine last Thursday - all went fine and the rack fixed my steering noise, however my steering pump is a lot noisier now. It was virtually inaudible before, but since the new rack I've developed the typical whine you hear from a lot...
You I sure? I've got 2 sat here, a 5 and a 7 plus. I have no issues with swapping the SIM card over, both were set up using the same backup from my previous phone. iMessage and apps are associated with the Apple ID, not the SIM card.
In fact, the majority of your phone will work just fine...
