can anyone give me a quick guide how to hard wire something into my car, as i havent got the cigarette plug adaptor..... its got the usual red, yellow and black wires, but was wondering if the fuse is usually in the cigarette lighter adaptor or not?

i got them on at the min. i rat them all round but dont drive fast in the wet, so they havent had a real test. in the dry they are great. but they have seemed to have lost a fair bit of tread over the past few months. could be my driving though ;-)

yeah its not mega warm. i flushed the system a couple of weeks back though! might have to change the matrix. a tad tricky i hear!

i didnt think superchips were re-mappable anyway! so i was told when i rang about having one!

well i wasnt sure and didnt want to spend £90 on a part if it wasnt gonna fix it! so i got a tempermental one from leigh! it worked fine for about 2 weeks but now its doing the same again! mostly when cold it stalls, but once warmed up still idles too low, about 600rpm or less! so looks...

i took the grommet out the bulkhead when changing the speedo cable. had trouble getting it put back in correctly, ill check it! it just sounds like a wuring noise, when accelerating, like belts or air moving, but definately coming from the front right of the car, in the footwell direction...

mine does it at the min, idle speed control valve is fuked. always seems to do it when thats playing up. getting a new un sat like!

iv got a bmc cda, and only just fitted it correctly (well sort of) just waiting for some proper ducting from DT! anyway, iv took a foggie out to get a cold air feed goin into it! but the ducting im using is 70mm and the standard hole is about 2cm round! lol can this bracket be taken off or...

when accellerating i can hear strange noise from the passenger footwell, sounds like a wiring noise or air flowing or something, only happens when i accellerate! any ideas?

i found no difference with the chip at all apart form 600prm extra to thrash the b****cks off of it. unichip all the way....if uv got a spare 500 squid lying about anyway! lol

it is a bit hard mate, u have to use some force to pull it out forwards. iv had trouble every time iv had a go at it! there is no sign of a clip like u say, but it will just pull out eventually!
