The car nearest the bottom right hand corner of the pic has a dent in the left side underneath the rear side window - I hope they didnt leave it like that! :(

How tight are Renault to their staff? You would think they would give you at least 20% discount. I get 20% discount for most stuff at Demon Tweeks - I wonder if they can get gear knobs and gaiters!!
I thought that on Top Gear the cars travel anti-clockwise around their track but I noticed last week that Johnny Vaughan appeared to be going the other way for much of the time!
Why do bikes and cars race clockwise round the tracks? Or are there any exceptions?
Ive seen worse cars than that made to look brand new! Surely that isnt a write off! Maybe someone can buy it from the insurance company and get it fixed.
Just make sure that you dont use the same sponge for the lower part of the car as for the cleaner top part. The wheels and sills are possibly the worst areas for picking up grit so either keep one sponge or cloth for these areas or if particularly dirty, throw the sponge/cloth away after using.
You can go where you like as the Government have stopped the dealer scaremongering and your warranty isnt affected. Just make sure that the garage uses Renault parts or equivalent quality. There was a large article posted somewhere here a couple of months ago about this.
Even the business of...
I bet if you had some spare time and rang round various garages, you would find that most of them employ older retired people who collect and deliver cars. Its just that many people dont like the thought of others driving their cars or maybe they have something that they want to personally...
Most dealers in the Edinburgh area have been doing this for quite a few years and as the drivers are mostly retireds looking for something to do, they arent interested in hammering your cars, unlike some of the guys on here who I can imagine might drive someone elses car like a maniac, just like...
If a dealer ripped my dash and damaged my wheel I would be :@ MAD :@ and if they couldnt fix either in an invisible way, then I would tell them to keep the car until the damaged area could no longer be seen. I would also remind them about how poor Renault are looked upon by their customers in...
WELL DONE MOOSE - had you not done what you have, I would have taken it further, because if Renault arent aware of it (WHICH I VERY MUCH DOUBT!!!!) then they jolly well should be. They probably do not want any publicity about the chance (however remote) of any of their 172/182s catching fire as...
While you are on the subjest - mine has lifted off the base or whatever you call it and I have stuck it back down with bluetack for now!!
Do I have to get a new one guys?
NO WAY would I ever let anyone else wash or polish my car - other than my dad ,who taught me all about caring for a car. He told me never to use the same sponge or cloth on the lower part or wheels, as on the bonnet, boot, doors etc and I get through loads of sponges etc to avoid the slightest...
Also VERY EXPLOSIVE are any aerosol cans, of which we all have sitting around the garage or house! Just one of those cans exposed to very high heat will probably explode, and a firefighter friend told me that a while ago he was called out to an explosion which turned out to be a can of...
