Red cars often fade somewhat, especially when out in all winds and weathers/bright sun etc - whether polished/waxed or not - nothing to do with using coloured polish - it is the pigment used in red. Have you never seen the colour of old Novas, Astras, Escorts etc? Red is the worst colour for...
Interesting that Turtle Wax Colour Magic Plus and Halfords Colour Polish are best buys! Ive never thought of using a colour polish, Ill check if they do a black.
Thanks Omar :)
Ask the manager if he would like you to have sprayed his car like that or would he give it back to be re-done?
Surely you would have done the obvious thing and walked around the car with the spray person before deciding whether or not to accept it! Why did it take until the following day for...
I was speaking to a friend who will be racing at Croft on 15th August and he said that on a Sunday they cant start racing until after 12 noon, out of respect for people who go to church. Is it that close to a church? If so I hope there arent any weddings or funerals on racing Sunday afternoons!
Jas, do you think Jeremy might have some spare tickets for a draw for the Superbikes at Croft on 15th August please, as a change from car tickets!!? ;)
How reliable is your car? (From What Car?)
If you want a supermini that won’t give you big worries, the Renault Clio is your best bet. According to Warranty Direct’s figures, the chances are less than one in 10 that owners will have made a warranty claim, making it the best supermini and one...

When my car was brand new I too experienced water in the spare wheel well but after a visit to my Renault dealer it was fixed. The leak was found to be down near the rear light on the left side of my car (lift up the hatch to see) where there was insufficient mastic and a few squirts of more...
I would like to see the V6 Clio in that dark rich purply/blackberry colour in which a friend has an N reg VR6. Depending on the light, sometimes it looks almost black and other times dark purple/blackberry.

Apart from two exhaust pipes poking out at the back of the car and different wheels, surely the 182 looks much the same as the 172 so it cant be the appearance of the car that your lady is after unless she has the spare cash needed to change up!

We have friends in the motor trade and topshopvaleting you are so right in what you say! I was at our BMW dealer the other day when they were prepping a car which was being collected and I asked the valeter what he was using, expecting him to say Auto Glym or similar and he said he uses good...
Also saw this elsewhere:
2. If your car has no MoT or road tax then your insurance is invalid
Almost always wrong. The Association of British Insurers (ABI) says that insurance policies will still pay out in full on any third party claims, and in the case of damage to or theft of your...
Only if your MOT hasnt yet expired!!
I got this from a police website:
On the final offence, drivers having vehicles with no MOT certificate, also tend to be uninsured, have no vehicle excise duty and are driven by unlicensed drivers. These offences are part of a wider pattern of criminal...
