I would go with the majority on here and say a V6 Clio
Perhaps if you really want a balanced opinion, why dont you post the same message on a Merc website?
My hubby drives a convertible BMW which doesnt interest me in the slightest and I have only driven it three times but I know...
Hmm! It would have been awful had you been involved in an accident with no insurance!!
How would you have coped with the loss/damage of your car and possible injuries/claim of another person?
To remove tar from the car, put some linseed oil on a cloth and pat the tar spots with the oil. Leave it on for approximately 10 to 15 minutes and then remoisten the cloth and clean it right off. The linseed oil will remove stickiness and will not hurt the finish of your car.
Steve, you know you are a V6 man at heart - you really need to see if there is any difference between the Mk 1 and Mk 2.
Go on, you know you want to!! Youll only regret it if you dont.
Dont bother with the uncool Nissan - the door handles look like they have been pinched from another car!
Good shots maybe, but not a good looking car!
Bushwhacked! Next Clio Falls Into Our Trap
Exclusive first pictures in this weeks mag reveal Renaults next-generation Clio. And our spies caught it undisguised from a secret hide-out in the roadside bushes!
This is the third...
I have just read in the Auto Express that the 182 Cup is going on sale in November priced at £13,800 and fitted with ABS and air-con.
Go-faster stripes are a £295 option! :o
Crikey our SignMan would make some plastic stripes for £10
Why do some people call cleaning/polishing/waxing their car, "DETAILING" it?
Surely it is only valeters who clean Porsches, Ferraris, Bentleys etc who use the term "DETAILING" a car!!
From a dictionary - Detailing: Small decorative features on a building, garment, or work of art...
If you dont tell them and you have a bump, they will only pay for a standard version of the Clio to be fixed, which wouldnt cover the extra cost of the 172 skirts. It probably wont cost you any extra, but at least they will know what has been done to your car.
I think it is a good idea to...
I was at the dentist yesterday and he is as obsessive as me about keeping his shiny silver Golf GTi in pristine condition, always parking at least a doors width from the next car, washing it off in the rain if muddy after a trip etc etc, and he polishes it far more often than I do mine! When...
Just because a car is brand new doesnt mean to say that it is scratch or dent free. A good friend of ours is a sales manager at a Vauxhall dealership and very often cars delivered to them, have to have complete panels resprayed or dents removed before the customer sees the car. They sometimes...
Maybe the scratches and dent were already there but were concealed by dirt, perhaps the valeters are so thorough that their cleaning has removed this and they show up.
Personally I would have thought that had the valeters noticed the scratches that they would have filled them with some...
It obviously doesnt concern me, but I would have thought that everyone here is so fanatical about their car, where they park it and at least a doors width away from the next car, that I cant imagine that any member would be so careless as to not open their own door very carefully, so as to avoid...
Stuart, I am looking forward to seeing your pics! Your dad must have gone the scenic route because it is only about 500 miles from Southampton to Dundee!! I bet he didnt want to hand the car over to you so he went the long way home and clocked up another 125 miles!!;)
