You should never unplug pencil coils when the engine is running. The correct way of diagnosing the fault with coils is to undo them all from the head and pull them off the spark plug one by one to find the faulty coil.

You cant put the wheel on wrong, it has a master spline so only goes on one place. Needs wheel alighnment.

Yep, you wont be able to see the connector block on the unit though. You will need to unscrew the cap where the wires dissapear to get to it ;)

Probably leaking oil from the headgasket/rocker cover onto the exhaust manifold. That would explain your smell and the oil consumption.

You have probably got the alarm unit wet under the scuttle panel. Just dissconect it.

the 1st picture in post 12 is the injection ECU. They are the who connectors for the computer.

Through the bonnet. There will be a metal anti tamper cage over it. Somtimes they just pull off, other times they need the little wheel turning at the back to release them.

You will see a black metal cage at the back of the engine. That is it.

Actis solution ;) Also on the sports, the washer was never a fix on actis. It was on the normal clios but not on the sports. They actually gave you a diagram to show you which part of the strut mounting area to grind away. Edit just seem freds post lol

Hold the damper shaft with a 6mm spanner.

Neither of them are right. Yours has a support bearing halfway up the shaft. They look like ph1 ones.
