'straight though' refers to the pipe itself, whether is has a cat, mid-box and back-box, nothing to do with the exhaust exit.
It will be no quieter on a stealth than on a normal exit exhaust really.
Some fucker has driven into my car whilst they were parking. Being as I live in Crawley, it's no surprise that the arsehole has driven off with leaving any details. So now I'm left to fix this....
It's worse than it looks in the picture... But I was looking for some advice on how best to...
I know, don't mean any disrespect to your mate, but even Renault dealers f**k up the F4R belt changes.... I wouldnt even consider sending it to someone that has never done one before.... regardless of how good they were with other engines.
You're sure he has all of the tools? There's 4 iirc...
there's loads of weight to be saved if you want to get serious with it.... the sound deadening is the first thing that needs to go.... seriously heavy stuff that.
Alot of people that buy them, take them on track, then end up selling them for something better.....
If you plan on tracking it, then you need to save the extra cash and get some top end coilovers.
OR, you could get some non-cup hubs, then you have a much wider choice available.
Just put 'cambelt snapped' into the search..... it will put you off going to your mate very quickly.
There's been untold numbers of people who have got their mate to do a cambelt that have come out and it's melted itself, been timed wrong etc etc etc.
Just go to a specialist! Getting it done...
That's too much effort for a joke! Lol. Good work though :) top marks sir!
His car would have had 4degrees - camber, then 4 degrees of toe out, then 4 positive camber, then 4 toe in.
Would have been brilliant!
They're progressive so stiff enough when they need to be but without being crashy or bumpy. If it wasn't for the fact that my arch gaps are too big now I have 15's I'd happily keep them. Combined with a whiteline ARB they're all you'll ever need on the road.
Tgaz16v - they'll settle another...
Not unless you have 4-pots, but even then there a few manufacturers that make setups that will fit under 15's.
I'm so so glad I bought 15's. I was torn for a while, but haven't regretted it since.
Search mate. It's been covered a hundred times and always causes arguments.
Smaller, lighter rims are better. Better handling, better acceleration, more choice of tyres, cheaper tyres.
It came up a while ago, I posted the formula in there for acceleration/mass. I'll try and find it...
If you know nothing about it mate, your best bet is to take it to a specialist. I'm sure they'll happily give you a break down of what they're doing.
The abs problem is most likely an abs ring or a sensor that has been damaged during the brake change.
I bought my car with a few problems, i...
Yes.
He bought a ktec stealth, they're out of stock, so he wants alternatives.
The guy above said that he should wait for the ktec, I'm saying I don't think he should.
Why would you think I hadn't read it?
If you get it fixed then you know exactly where you stand, if you buy another car, you could have all kinds of other problems.
Keep it, get it fixed. No question.
