My dad, who I blame for my car-cleaning habit, has always said that the harder the wax/polish is to apply and remove, the longer it lasts on the paintwork.
I think he is right. He certainly wouldnt use Mer as it is too powdery!
I think that what you have to do is to put your feet on the ground before you touch the top of the door so that the electricity can go to ground - or something like that!
Well Im going to be different as I think Auto Glym is well over rated and I prefer Turtle Wax Extreme Polishing Wax and Turtle Wax Gloss Guard which is better than Auto Glym. The Gloss Guard is £6.99 for 500ml and the Auto Glym Gloss Protection is £11.99 for the same amount, and this is what I...
I have just had a quick look on the DVLA site and there are 500 different **53CUP regs for £799 including the £80 assignment fee so you would do better getting the ordinary version!
All the good ones which make up words etc are kept back by the DVLA or have already been bought as they are on sale to the public long before the plates can be actually put on the new cars.
Oh no, not Reg Vardy!! They dont have such a good name and arent always that reliable. I know of two cars a while back, which they had newly MOTd and then sold and both cars should have FAILED the MOT as they had some serious failure problems. The independent garage that discovered these...
You could try the Renault dealer along Seafield Road (a bit east of Leith). I went there for my warranty work and they were excellent, nice people too.
It was at that time called Abercromby Renault, whereas now it has been bought by Arnold Clark and the name has changed. I dont know what it...
I have to agree with you visceral. Where I live I see Porsches, TVRs, a couple of Maseratis, Scoobys, Evos, Mercs and Beemers galore and none of them turn heads like a V6 Clio, partly because they are so common but mostly because the V6 has got something that none of the other cars have -...
I thought when I read the title that you had scratched DASH (the guy with the gorgeous V6) I thought poor Dash getting scratched by a Chippenham Cup!
:D
I think these wheels would suit your car as they look lightweight in appearance and would match the light colour of your car.

Get those Super Soakers filled with old black oil and when you drive past these cr*ppy garages you could give all of their forecourts a good leaking.
The trouble is that these incompetent guys are the link between ourselves and Renault and as you say, it isnt Renault as a company who are at fault, it is these numpties who are representing Renault who give Renault a bad name!
Why are some still sitting in Dieppe when they could be over here?
Ill take care of one as long as it is properly alarmed with the Trackstar thingy!
Would you please organise one for me Jeremy? :D
