The new ones are £27,000 so that is a difference of £7000 not 3-4 and I dont think there will be many demonstrators! I actually like the Mk1 as much as I like the Mk2 shape of both the 172 and the V6 and personally I dont think the Mk1 front looks dated on either car.
Anyone else with other...
This car is looking for a good home! Should I get it or would it be wasted on me? Although it is a Mk 1 V6 it is brand new, unregistered with 3 miles on the clock but since I dont drive too many miles would it be better waiting for a better home where it can be driven in a speedier manner...
I think that you will be covered third party for someone eles car, but it is possible that they are covered for anyone to drive it.
To be absolutely sure, why not give Elephant a quick ring.
I had quite a large blob on my car this morning so I gave it a good soaking with very wet kitchen towels, then washed it off, dried it and I could still see a darkish mark where it had been. I rubbed in some Zymol with a soft cloth and after polishing it off it seems to have disappeared. I...

I am so sorry for you having had your car stolen. I had an Astra GTE stolen a few years ago and although it was alarmed and immobilsed, it didnt stop the thieves, as it was taken away on a breakdown lorry as I was to learn a couple of days later. I had spent about three hours earlier...
These people should be made to re-sit their test if they arent able to park without hitting cars and posts. That is ridiculous getting so close to someone elses car.
I have seen a few similar incidents, mostly wee women in huge MPV type vehicles, which seem to do most damage to cars...

You made the perfect choice there Tom - black is special, silver is common.;)
Jilly will agree with me on this one.
Hope your personal life is sorted now Tom.
There are quite a few oldies around here with very cool cars. One old grey haired lady drives a silver Civic Type R, loads drive sporty little convertibles and a couple of Merc cabrios, a maroon TVR, a nice blue Scooby, a couple of 206 GTis and all sorts of other cars. The older people have...
How old do I have to be? What are you doing with two V6 Clios?
How cheap is cheap?
You will probably have raced yours. Where are you? The one I have seen has 3 miles on it!
I have hinted at my other half about a V6 as it is my birthday on Monday, and he did say that if I could get £9,500 for my 172 then he would get me one!
What do you think I could get for my car? It has done 4,500 miles and was new in January 2002. No marks on it anywhere.
The problem would...
Personally I think that the build quality is no worse than the majority of car manufacturers and much better than quite a few others. Cars like BMWs, Mercs and similarly priced cars are obviously better built, but then look at the price difference!
At least Clios havent had eight recalls like...
How about the Kahn RS-S that is a nice wheel (6-spoke) as is the similar Boss XTR (5-spoke)?
A guy I know who works at a wheel shop reckons that hatchbacks suit 5-spokes better than any other wheel, apart from multispokes.

Personally I have found my nearest Renault garage is OK but it is probably because it is a "franchised" dealer, but the other "main" dealer isnt nearly as good.
I think that dealer care, or rather lack of it, is what lets Renault down in surveys such as the JD Power survey.
Maybe it is...
