    Winter Tyres

These winter tyres do give a false sense of security on slippery roads! I've found myself driving a little too quickly on the odd occasion due to the extra grip.

    Hello from Wolverhampton

Welcome mate, I'm just around the corner in Cannock. I used a have a red 197 with black wheels, rear cage, ITG filter, remapped and stripped out with coilovers. You may have seen me about. I'd recommend getting KW coilovers if you can, best mod I spent money on!

Thinking of selling up for a nimbus 197

The 197 is a great car for driving fast. Plenty of thrills but without the spills thanks to its sure-footed handling and fantastic brakes. Economy and cheddar gearbox put me off.

Yeah that's what I had, much worse than springs! Spoken to a few 200 owners and nobody has complained about the MPG.

    that noise is insane

Does nothing for me, sounds like a bike. I don't like the sound of bikes. This is how a car should sound....

    that noise is insane

The Yanks were the only people to make sweet sounding automobiles, anything since is mediocre.

    Winter Tyres

Actually, thinking about it... You've got these guys who 'can't afford' winter tyres on their track-spec, stripped out and coilovered beasts that only go as far as Tescos... Yet they'll pay over the odds for 888's or RS2's when in reality, ting-tong tyres will suffice given the same 'can't...
