Anything over 120 and your oil unless its racing like stuff its cooking and needs to be changed.
You did use the correct filter as some palces sell the wrong filter which whilst it first the Clio can be a restriction on the system.
Yep but check on the edge you might find it difficult if there edge on the runners of the trailer as you've only 32mm or so per side plus if you lower the car it becomes a bit wider so that width along with some bigger alloys and different offset wheels might lead to it catching.
Depends what pads yourt running stock stuff isn't bad on normal diks however for harder pads you need to spedn a bit more sicne the brakes get hotter. I've used castrol super response stuff and its fine. Demon tweeks seem the only big supplier. halfords used to see it though they just sell the...
It goes round the crackshaft then the coolent pump them the alternator then the PAS pump and back again.
No tensioner or anything belt is tensioned by a bracket on the alternator.
Yep 4~5hours for cambelt.
I though your questions upto now had been answered? What do you want to know?
None not at 12 hours labour (officaly 15 I think). the engien good for the 72k/5 years after all its a Laguna engine realy which does fine for the reps etc.
Get the tracking checked again many garages cannot do it right best place is a back street garage IMO doesn't matter if they lazer it etc just as long as they know what there doing.
If that doesn't fix it swop the wheels round side to side if not get tracking done at another garage.
My rear arch liner has worn away sounds like you might be having the same trouble. JSut take the wheel of have a look whats catching and see if it can be removd or spacer the wheel out.
1430 to center of wheel so with its 205 tyres its 1635mm howver I'd give it at least 5cm more its not easy putting car on a trailer.
Rear is 22mm narrower.
The reason i said decat is the 182 manifold is a different size so you have to have a pipe to match up the manifold to th exhaust a deact pipe is cheap and easy to make up. If you want get a sports cat from a 182 as this is better than the 172 one which is quite restrictive or a sports cat and...
Arguable I'd say the phase 1 is the best it depends what you want the car for.
Personally if you do any milage in the cold wet etc then get a 182 ABS althogh maybe to much nanny state is handy driving to work when your tired etc the CUp is fine though if you are going to think about what your...
Depends on age about cambelt its 12 hours engine out jobbie so not cheap although the engine itsefl parts are cheap.
Gearbox oil and brake fluid change err and normal service thats all IMO.
Fuel filter is good for 150k so no point waste of money.
Plugs might not be a bad idea.
182 exhaust manifold.
With that a decat to make it macth to your exhaust.
That about all value for money wise cams etc are you next port of call usually or throttle bodies which is mega money.
You can use the Valver loom I think. If not use the Williams loom and ECU plus you need the alternaotr or starter plus gea gearbox isn't a bad idea although 16V one is fine. Somthing about the flywheel rings a bell needding to use the 1.8 one with a 1.8 gearbox. Coil cooler isn't a bad idea some...
£60~80 or so.
Sport ones don't last long on the 172/182 40k at worst. Depends how you driven if you drive hard but plib the throttle it would last ages.
I get 200 mins 500 txt or so for £1.88 (well equivalent as I got £100 credit instead of a phone and £10 line rental so £20 for the year) no phone though
Cambelt tensioners only. There 3 from memory on the cambelt.
Aux belt on a Cup is easy the alternator is use to tighten it should be replaced instead of resused IMO all the time and its only £11 or so so why not when if they do fail it taken out the cambelt 995 of the time which is a £1k or...
The prrblem si it should be done buy mnay places forget that it needs to be done since under the ole 172/182 rules it didn't howver they failed that much Renault changed it so it should be chnaged but dealers still forget to quote or do the work.
Some 1.6 16V have it also the dci 100 and some 80 from memory. All 172/182s have them.
Yep your right its the whole rear axle you need to swop.
Nope whole rear axle drop off with the 4 bolts then lift new one up and bolt on.
Depends how good you are but a ramp would help but there no need...
No point drums are IMo better cheaper to fix new drums with bearing and drums are £100 vs £165 for disk which need doing twice as often.
Only 4 bolt hold the axle on them you've got to fit the brake lines and handbrake cable. Say 1.5hours to do. Depen how fast you work no point though IMO.
Yep they don't wear much I went though about 4 sets of front pads and disk and they were only about 70% worn. They had cracked a bit from excess heat but I do track days and it still asn't that bad by any means would have been fine for say another 30k (chnaged them at about 60k).
Just clean...
Just unplug the lines and get raly to get any fuel in the system.
Its no problems even 150k sounds be no trouble. Why do you think you need to chnage it?
